Abstract

隨著科技的快速發展,全球互動模式由傳統書信演變為即時連網的無縫交流,促進了國際間更深層的文化連結,也讓文化交流成為展現國家軟實力的重要方式之一。衛武營國家藝術文化中心(以下簡稱衛武營)自2018年開幕起,積極推動國際共製節目,尤其在歌劇類國際共製節目中成效顯著,加深國際對臺灣藝文能量的認可。本研究聚焦於衛武營的國際共製節目,通過文獻分析與深度訪談,探討其推動的動機、推動的條件及未來期望。首先,衛武營推動國際共製節目的核心動機是提升臺灣在國際藝術領域的能見度,強化文化外交角色;重視能尊重並展示臺灣特色的合作夥伴與高品質國際作品的引進,以促進本地與國際間的藝術交流。其次,國際共製的成功推動依賴場館的專業團隊(包含場館員工、共製的藝術家與團隊)、先進的硬體設施、穩定的資金支持及有效的跨文化溝通,這些條件讓衛武營在國際共製節目上具備高度競爭力。最後,衛武營與其合作夥伴期望推出更多具有臺灣文化特色的國際共製作品,並在製作過程中保持對等合作的精神,避免僅充當資金或技術的提供方。同時藉由呈現更多元的國際共製節目,吸引更廣泛的觀眾群體。
With the rapid advancement of technology, global communication has transformed from traditional correspondence to seamless, real-time online exchanges. This evolution has deepened international cultural connections and made cultural exchange a vital way to showcase a nation's soft power. Since its opening in 2018, the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying) has actively promoted international co-productions, particularly in the realm of opera, achieving significant success in enhancing international recognition of Taiwan’s artistic capabilities. This study focuses on Weiwuying's international co-productions through literature analysis and in-depth interviews to examine its motivations, prerequisites, and future aspirations. First, Weiwuying’s primary motivation for promoting international co-productions is to enhance Taiwan's visibility in the global arts scene and strengthen its role in cultural diplomacy. Emphasizes selecting partners who respect and showcase Taiwan's unique characteristics and introducing high-quality international productions to foster artistic exchanges between local and global communities. Second, the successful promotion of international co-productions relies on several factors, including a professional team (consisting of internal staff, collaborating artists, and crew members), state-of-the-art facilities, stable funding, and effective cross-cultural communication. These conditions position Weiwuying as highly competitive in executing international co-productions.Finally, Weiwuying and its partners aim to produce more international co-productions featuring distinctive Taiwanese cultural elements while maintaining a spirit of equitable collaboration to avoid merely serving as a provider of funds or technical expertise. They also aspire to present a broader array of international co-productions to attract more diverse audiences.This research underscores Weiwuying's role in advancing Taiwan's cultural influence through international co-productions and provides valuable insights for future strategies in cultural exchange and artistic collaboration.
