臺中國家歌劇院「音樂劇線上─新起之秀」人才培訓計畫之成效研究

Abstract

臺灣的音樂劇產業從1980年代開始就不斷地在持續成長中，隨著越來越多人陸續接觸音樂劇，這項產業對於人才的需求量也隨之變大，除了要拓展更多廣大的觀眾群之外，培育音樂劇人才也變成相當重要的課題。然而，由於臺灣藝術市場頻頻缺少資源的困境，再加上政府對於藝術產業的不重視，臺灣到現在都還沒有什麼專門的學校科系去培訓音樂劇人才。因此，為了突破這樣的窘境，近幾年有許多藝術團體或機構也慢慢開始推出人才培育的相關計畫，期望能透過課程，培育出更多的音樂劇人才，為未來打造更優良的市場。本研究的主旨在探討臺灣對於音樂劇人才培育的方式及成效，以臺中國家歌劇院舉辦的「新起之秀」為例，從課程、師資、設備等等，進行多面向的分析討論，加上對授課教師、學員、主辦單位及音樂劇導演的訪談佐證，以及研究生自身的參與觀察，來探討培育音樂劇人才的要素條件、此計畫對於學員的影響效益以及對臺灣音樂劇產業的發展為何，期望能透過本研究為未來的音樂劇人才培訓課程提供建議及改善，並為臺灣的音樂劇產業給予回饋。Since the 1980s, Taiwan’s musical theater industry has been steadily growing, with more and more people being introduced to musical theater. This growth has led to an increased demand for talent within the industry. Beyond expanding the audience base, cultivating musical theater talent has become a crucial issue. However, due to limited resources in Taiwan’s arts market and the government’s lack of focus on the arts industry, Taiwan still lacks specialized academic programs to train musical theater professionals. To address this challenge, many arts organizations and institutions have recently begun introducing talent development programs, aiming to nurture more musical theater professionals and build a stronger industry for the future.The purpose of this study is to explore Taiwan’s approaches to musical theater talent cultivation and the effectiveness of these initiatives, with a particular focus on the"Rising Stars" program hosted by the Taichung National Theater. This research provides a comprehensive analysis of the program’s curriculum, faculty, facilities, and more, supported by interviews with instructors, participants, organizers, and musical directors along with observations from the researcher’s own participation. The study aims to identify essential factors in musical theater talent development, evaluate the program’s impact on participants, and assess its contribution to the growthof Taiwan’s musical theater industry. Through this research, the study offers some recommendations for future training programs in order to improve talent cultivation and support the development of Taiwan’s musical theater industry.
