Abstract
第二十七屆當代聽力學會議於2015 年3 月25 日至28 日在德州聖安東尼市舉行,與會者超過6,000 人,主題是「帶著成功向前航行」。一如以往,大會安排了多種學習活動,例如:展覽廠商報告、專題報告、學習區塊、研究成果報告、研究成果海報展示、工業界最新發展報告、學生專屬的教育活動等;一些熱門的主題,課室裡總是人山人海。本文將會議中的幾個重要議題予以摘記,包括Marion Downs 專題演講、耳鳴、以及認知與聽知覺的關係等。
Audiology NOW! is the world’s largest gathering of audiologists. This annual convention was hosted by the America Academy of Audiology. The 27th convention was scheduled for March 25-28, 2015, in San Antonio, Texas, USA. More than 6000 people participated in the event. There was a variety of learning activities under the banner of the conference’s theme, "Steer with success": exhibitor courses, featured sessions, quick solutions, research podium, research poster, industry updates, student educational sessions, etc. The auditoriums for many of the more high-profile and timely topics were filled with attendees. Several important topics were summarized in this article, in order to share them with those who did not attend the conference: Marion Downs’ special lecture, the universal newborn hearing screening program, tinnitus, and the relationship between cognition and hearing perception.
