書法布白於漢字編排設計之應用

Abstract
本研究試圖從書法布白中分析其形式規則,並歸納出構成書法布白空間的佈置法則,藉以探索漢字編排設計的可能性。第貳章文獻探討的部份,首先從漢字的源流探討漢字與書法的關係,進而論述書法的特性,歷代書法的演變與書體的介紹。第參章為本研究主要論述的部份,從了解書法布白的組成到布白的定義,經由歷代書法的作品及書論,窺究書法布白的形成。並分析書法作品和學者對布白的分類,歸納整理出書法布白的空間形式,分為四大項:(一)行列的空間形式;(二)縱行的空間解構;(三)行列交織的整體空間;(四)行列間的留白空間。行列間的空間形式又可細分為(1)有行有列:行距窄於字距、行距等於字距、行距寬於字距;(2)有行無列;(3)無行無列。縱行的空間解構:(1)中軸線:垂直中軸線、不規則中軸線;(2)單字連綴:實連、虛連、意連、穿插;(3)單行句式:填格式、貫珠式、蛇游式、嵌入式。最後,透過海報的創作,在海報的編排設計中體現書法布白的空間形式並驗證之。
本研究探究書法布白形成與編排形式,希望可藉此做為平面設計師從事漢字編排設計的應用形式,並以此作為相關研究之參考。
This thesis analyzes the forms and rules from the orderly ways of Chinese calligraphy. In order to investigate the layout design of Chinese characters, the layout rules composing space of orderly ways of Chinese calligraphy is proposed. In the second chapter, references researching, the author investigates the relationship between Chinese characters and Chinese calligraphy by the progress of Chinese characters first. The characteristics, development and types of Chinese calligraphy are introduced then. The third chapter is the main part of this thesis. From understanding the component of the orderly ways of Chinese calligraphy to the definition of "orderly ways", the author describes the growing of the orderly ways of Chinese calligraphy according to all the works and books about Chinese calligraphy in every dynasty. The works of Chinese calligraphy and the classification of the orderly ways are also analyzed. The space form of the orderly ways of Chinese calligraphy can be concluded as four major parts : (Ⅰ) column and row, (Ⅱ) deconstruction of column, (Ⅲ) column connected with row, (Ⅳ) space out of column and row. Finally, by poster creating, the author experiences and verifies the space form of the orderly ways of Chinese calligraphy. This thesis investigates the forming and layout of the orderly ways of Chinese calligraphy. This material can be an application style for graphic designers. Also, this thesis is a useful reference for relative research.
