Abstract

本研究旨在探討台灣北部地區高中職學生道路交通安全行為之表現,從道路交通安全之注意、交通工具的安全使用、道路使用行為規範的遵守、交通事故處理應變能力及交通事故體驗與學習等五大層面來探討。其研究目的為瞭解台灣北部地區高中職學生在道路交通安全行為表現之現況及不同個人及學校背景因素對道路交通安全行為表現之影響,並提出具體結論建議,提供教育行政主管機關作為訂定相關政策及推行交通安全教育之參考。 本研究以調查研究法來進行,針對台灣北部地區193所公、私立高中職學校進行抽樣,共計抽樣16所學校;寄發問卷1,440份;有效問卷1,218份;回收率84.6%。使用SPSS 11.0 for Windows 作為統計應用軟體程式,運用次數分配、百分比、平均數、標準差、單一樣本t考驗、獨立樣本t考驗及單因子變異數分析等方法進行統計分析。 經過研究之後獲致以下幾項結論: 一、台灣北部地區高中職學生整體道路交通安全行為表現趨向正向情況,而部份層面表現趨向負向情況。 二、台灣北部地區高中職學生部分個人背景因素在道路交通安全行為表現有差異存在。 三、台灣北部地區高中職學生部分學校背景因素在道路交通行為表現有差異存在。 最後,綜合本研究所獲得之結論,提出對教育、交通主管機關及相關教育人員、道路使用者與未來後續研究之建議。
This study is to explore the road traffic safety behavior of the senior high school students in northern Taiwan in terms of attention to road traffic safety, usage of transportation services, compliance to road usage regulations, the ability to deal with a traffic accident, and traffic accident experiences and learning. The objectives of this study are: 1.To understand the road traffic safety behavior of the senior high school students in northern Taiwan. 2.To explore the effects of personal background variables on the road traffic safety behavior of the senior high school students in northern Taiwan. 3.To explore the effects of scholastic background variables on the road traffic safety behavior of the senior high school students in northern Taiwan. 4.To bring forth specific conclusions and suggestions for the reference of education authorities in formulating relevant polices and promoting traffic safety. This study adopted the survey method. Stratified cluster random sampling was employed to select 16 schools from the 193 senior high schools in northern Taiwan. A total of 1,440 questionnaires were distributed and 1,218 were effective, with a returned rate of 84.6%. The collected data was entered into the statistical software package SPSS 11.0 for Windows and analyzed using the following methods: frequency distribution, percentage, average mean, standard deviation, independent sample t-test, one-sample t-test, and one-way analysis of variance(ANOVA). Based on the findings of this study, the following conclusions have been achieved: 1.In terms of road traffic safety, the senior high school students in northern Taiwan show positive behavior on the whole but show negative behavior in some aspects. 2.Differences are shown among the road traffic safety behavior of the senior high school students in northern Taiwan based on some personal background variables. 3.Differences are shown among the road traffic safety behavior of the senior high school students in northern Taiwan based on some scholastic background variables. Based on the conclusions of this study, suggestions are made at the end for the reference of the education and transportation authorities, educators, road users, and future researchers.
