dc.description.abstractHappiness will be the key issue in this study. The purpose of this study is to extend from Lu & Shih (1997) indefining Chinese “happiness”, and find out how the sources of happiness can be applied in workplace. Specifically,qualitative method will be conducted to realize how the sources of Chinese happiness can be practiced in workplace.Seven white collar workers in different industries, positions and work experiences participated in this research, theyreported how they think each category of the sources of happiness can be applied in workplace based on their experiences.Interview content were transcribed, analyzed and compared with Lu and Shih’s study to see if Chinese sources of happiness can be well applied in workplace. Furthermore, suggestions to modify the categories of sources of Chinesehappiness are provided based on the findings of this researchen_US
