Abstract

本創作研究宗旨在探討以向量方式繪製的數位繪畫在童書插畫設計的表現和應用,作品創作以幽默、誇張的造形和漸層填色為主要表現手法。其重點著重於運用向量式Illustrator繪圖軟體的特色設計出具樂性、有品味的童書插畫作品;同時在視覺傳達設計中發揮向量式繪畫軟體的優點,以期提供設計創作者更加了解向量軟體在數位繪畫的特色和方便性。 故事中,猴子騙鱷魚用樹上熟透的「果實」取代了「膽」,以現代營養學知識研判,大部分的「水果」皆含豐富的維他命,以及稀有性礦物質,皆可增強人體免疫力;以此角度觀之,故事中母鱷魚的怪病,或許吃了猴子送的「果實」以後,增強了身體免疫力,導致病癒、恢復健康,也不是不可能的事。這樣的情節發展,傳遞給兒童「水果是有益健康」的正面訊息,無形中可以幫助兒童不排斥水果,進而養成「常吃水果」的好習慣。 本創作以趣味、誇張造形,和明朗亮麗的色彩吸引兒童的目光,再以生動的故事題材,引領兒童進入並溶入在故事的意境裏,去感受領略故事中富「機智」的教育性內涵,無形中達到啟迪與薰陶的目的;再者,故事中依情境不同而設計的色彩氣氛亦可在兒童幼小心靈中培植其對色彩的認識與興趣。
The purpose of the creativity was to confer the expression and application of the digital painting of vector mode in the child book’s iconographs. The main techniques of expression of the works were the humorous and exaggerated shapes and the gradient filling colors. The point was to use the Illustrator software to create the child book’s iconographs with the entertainment and in excellent taste. Meanwhile, it could bring the skill of the software into full play in the vision expression and make the designers to understand the characteristic and convenience of vector software. In the story, the monkey used the fullblown fruit which was on the tree to substitute the gall to deceive the alligator. According to the knowledge of the modern nutriology, most fruits contain abundant vitamins and rare mineral substance and they can strengthen the immunity of the body. From the viewpoint, the female alligator’s strange illness could be cured maybe had a closed relationship with that she ate the fruit which was sent by the monkey and it strengthened the immunity of the body. The story could give the positive message to children that fruit was good for health. It could help children imperceptibly not to exclude the fruit and form a good habit of eating fruit constantly. In my creativity, I wanted to use interesting and exaggerated shapes and bright colors to attract the children’s visions; furthermore, I conducted the children into the story to feel the educational intension which was full of keen-witted and it could reach the purpose of irradiation and influence. The colors which were designed for different situations could also cultivate the recognition and interest to colors in children’s minds.
