運用即時通訊網路團體諮商對高憂鬱傾向學生輔導之研究

Abstract
本研究目的在於瞭解高憂鬱傾向國中生之即時通訊使用情形,以及即時通訊網路團體諮商對高憂鬱傾向國中生之「憂鬱」及「自尊」二方面之輔導效果,藉此研究結果提供學校輔導人員對憂鬱傾向學生輔導之參考。本研究採實驗研究法,採等組前後測設計,以台北市某完全中學國中部三年級經調查為高憂鬱傾向之學生為研究對象,實驗組六名,控制組六名。由研究者擔任團體領導員,於實驗組實施為期十次的網路團體諮商;並於團體實施前二週內,實驗組與控制組同步完成「兒童憂鬱量表」和「自尊量表」前測,於第十次團體後,實驗組與控制組同步「兒童憂鬱量表」和「自尊量表」完成後測。
研究結果各項資料經統計處理分析之後獲得下列主要結論:
一、高憂鬱傾向學生即時通訊使用經驗較一般學生為久,平均使用即時通訊頻率與一般組差異不大但時間較長;使用地點多在家裡,而使用對象以同學和朋友為主;主要使用軟體為Yahoo Messenger,主要活動為文字聊天、檔案傳輸、互動遊戲與多人交談,而主要使用目的,以聊天、和朋友聯絡與分享檔案照片音樂為主。
二、即時通訊網路團體諮商對降低高憂鬱傾向國中學生的憂鬱情形具顯著之輔導效果。
三、即時通訊網路團體諮商對提升高憂鬱傾向國中學生的低自尊情形未具顯著之輔導效果,但對改善低自尊是有助益的。
本研究依據研究結果,對未來輔導實務及研究提出建議,供後續研究者與輔導人員之參考。
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of group counseling with Instant Messaging(IM) in web-based environment on high-depressive students’ depression and self-esteem. The result of this study could offer the counsellors to improve the counseling on the students in school. The subjects consisted of 12 high-depressive students in 9th grade at one junior high school in Taipei. These students were assigned randomly to the experiment group and control group with 6 people in each of the group. The researcher served as the group leader, The experiment group was treated 10 times of web-based counseling group and each session lasted for one hour. The control group received no treatment. This study used “Children’s Depression Inventory” and “The Self-esteem Scale” as the assessment tools to assess whether there existed significant differences between the scores the experiment group and the control group obtained on the two scales administered before and after the experiment. Results were summarized as follows: 1.The IM experience of the high-depressive students are longer and more frequency than general students. They often use IM at home to talk with their classmates and friends. The main activity is spread for characters chat , file fail , interdynamic game and talkwith others. And the main using purpose are to chat , contact friend and share photos. 2. The IM web-based counseling group had significant effects on improving the depression of high-depressive students. 3. The IM web-based counseling group didn’t have significant effects on improving the low self-esteem of high-depressive students, but other datas of subjects’ scroes showed the method could help the students to improve the self-esteem in some ways. Finally, we came to a conclusion according to the results of this research, and some suggestions were made for further studies in the area of counseling affairs.
