Abstract
本研究主要透過詮釋學方法,探討Jane Roland Martin的女性主義教育思想,包括Jane Roland Martin的學術經歷背景及轉變,以及探究其女性主義教育思想的內涵及對當代女性教育家的分析及批判,並透過其具有代表性的教育思想概念,包括性別敏銳教育、學校之家、文化財富等概念,進行評析及討論。本研究共分為五章,第一章緒論在說明研究背景、研究動機與目的、研究範圍與限制、研究方法與步驟,並進行國內文獻初探。第二章則說明Jane Roland Martin的生平經歷、女性主義教育思想的承繼與啟蒙以及其發展。第三章則探究其對不同女性教育思想家的思想的再詮釋。第四章以Jane Roland Martin 女性教育思想的拓展,包括學校之家、文化財富等概念,並進行評析。第五章結論提出本文的結論以及後續研究建議。經過本研究,Martin在轉向女性主義研究後,對傳統教育理論有諸多批判,認為女性在教育領域幾乎被忽略。所以Martin主張,應重視女性經驗、情意的學習、家庭教育等內容,而後她也以這些主張,持續拓展出學校之家(schoolhome)、文化財富(cultural wealth)等內容的相關著作。其中更包含了性別敏銳教育、3C教育、教育-性別系統等這些Martin教育理想的說明。而經過對Martin女性主義教育思想的重探,研究者發現Martin對現代教育有下列貢獻,包括(一) 分析教育與性別的關係、(二)說明文化傳承的重要性、(三)重視教育的全面性、(四)對教育場域的再構等內容。從上述能看出Martin的女性主義教育思想持續延伸,並越加完善,使得範圍涵蓋學校、家庭、社會、國家,也可從中看出Martin對性別意識、教育實踐和文化財富保護的重視。
This study adopts a hermeneutic approach to examine Jane Roland Martin’s feminist educational theories, investigating Martin's academic background and transformation, as well as the essence of her feminist educational views and critiques of the contemporary female educators. Key concepts such as gender-sensitive education, schoolhome, and cultural wealth are analyzed and discussed. The research is organized into five chapters. The first chapter introduces the research background, motivation, purpose, scope, limitations, methods, and a preliminary review of literature conducted in Taiwan. The second chapter discusses Martin's life experiences, the inheritance and enlightenment of her feminist educational thoughts, with their development. The third chapter explores her reinterpretation of the ideas of various female educational thinkers. Chapter four reviews and analyzes the expansion of Martin's ideas on women's education, including schoolhome, cultural wealth, and other concepts. Chapter five summarizes the findings and offers suggestions for further research. The study finds that Martin transitioned to women's studies and became critical of traditional educational theories, arguing that women were largely ignored in the field of education. This shift led to the completion of other related works on schoolhome, cultural wealth, and other topics. This study manages to develop a deeper insight into Martin's feminist educational theories and reveals her significant contributions to modern education, including (1) analyzing the relationship between education and gender, (2) emphasizing the importance of cultural inheritance, and (3) highlighting the significance of education. Martin's feminist educational thoughts have continuously evolved, encompassing schools, families, society, and the country. In addition, her works also demonstrate her strong emphasis on the importance of gender awareness, educational practice, and cultural wealth preservation.
