文學類圖像設計創作研究—以國中國文經典選文為例

Abstract

本創作研究針對國中國文經典選文及文學類圖像進行分析與研究。研究目的為(一)探討圖像設計相關文獻,透過個案研究分析並歸納相同課文在不同版本搭配的圖像,整理出具代表性的圖像符號與課文搭配字句。(二)探討文學類圖像設計相關文獻,透過個案研究分析並歸納當前文學類圖像設計的趨勢。(三)探討國中國文經典選文相關文獻。(四)根據上述研究結果,進行國中國文經典選文圖像設計創作,期能讓圖像有較不同以往的呈現,引起人們興趣。本創作研究以多次被選入國中國文教科書且符號性較為豐富之16篇選文作為主題,依循所歸納之少即是多、扁平化、去陰影、用色簡約、背景單純等特徵作為創作原則,分為兩種形式進行創作,創作形式〈A〉為採用原提取之圖像符號進行創作。創作形式〈B〉為除了運用原提取之圖像符號外,另外結合與文意有關之現代生活、流行文化等當代元素,進行更進一步的轉化。本次創作研究發現(一)國中國文課文搭配圖像,呈現情境多為詮釋課文的關鍵情景或整體意象。(二)當前文學類圖像的表現形式多以抽象為主。(三)國中國文經典選文應可視為跨世代的共同記憶。(四)依循所歸納之設計原則進行創作,能賦予國中國文經典選文較不同於以往的視覺呈現。
This creation study focuses on the analysis and research of classic selected articles and literary images in junior high school Chinese textbooks. The research objectives are as follows: (1) To explore the relevant literature on image design, analyze and summarize the graphics created for the same text in different versions of textbooks through a case study, and present representative graphic symbols matching words and sentences in the text; (2) To explore the relevant literature on literary image design, and to analyze and summarize the current trends in literary image design through a case study; (3) To explore the relevant literature on the classic selected articles in junior high school Chinese textbooks; (4) Based on the results of the above study, to design and create illustrations for the classic selected articles in junior high school Chinese textbooks, with the hope that the illustrations will be presented differently and be of interest to readers. Sixteen articles, which have been selected into the junior high school Chinese textbooks for multiple times and are rich in symbols, are used as the subject of this study. The characteristics summarized in this study, including less is more, flattening, de-shadowing, frankness in coloring, and simplicity of background, are adopted as the principles for graphic creation, which is carried out in two forms. Creation form<A> is to use the original graphic symbols extracted to produce creations. As for creation form <B>, in addition to the use of the original graphic symbols, further transformations are made by combining contemporary elements such as modern life and pop culture related to the textual meaning. The findings of this study are as follows: (1) The graphics in junior high school Chinese textbooks often present images to interpret the key scenes or overall imagery of the texts. (2) Current literary images are mostly presented in an abstract manner. (3) The classic selected articles in junior high school Chinese textbooks can be regarded as a collective memory shared across generations. (4) By following the design principles summarized herein, the graphics created can give a different visual presentation to the classic selected articles in junior high school Chinese textbooks.
