新竹鄭氏家廟祭儀運作與族人認同感之研究

Abstract

本研究的目的在於彙整新竹北門鄭氏家族的發展過程，與鄭氏家廟的祭禮儀式，分析家廟祭儀對鄭氏族親的價值意義，及其對家族認同感的影響。研究方法為文件分析和深度訪談，經由相關歷史檔案文件分析，以及八位主要關鍵鄭氏族親的深度訪談，獲得如下的結論。一、鄭氏家族以開台進士鄭用錫之美名致力於北台灣文教二、鄭氏家族祭祀公業分大公小公，各股與譜系之間的關係明確三、鄭氏家廟古蹟群與各式匾額成為有形與無形的文化資產四、鄭氏家廟祭禮教化子孫產生家族認同五、鄭氏家廟祭禮的價值意義有四：緬懷祖先與慎終追遠、祈福庇佑與平安團圓、凝聚家族向心力、家族文化傳承。六、鄭氏家廟祭儀對家族認同感的影響內涵有五：家族光榮感、家族景仰感、家族使命感、家族歸屬感、家族辨識感。七、鄭氏家廟未來營運的方向：組織完善制度化、態度開放與推廣宣傳、崇尚教育與提倡文風、古蹟聚落維護保養、出版文史紀念圖錄。研究者根據上述結論提出下列六項議題與其他各大家族交流：一、以更高標準提升祭祀公業法人規章二、開放家廟預約參訪 三、祭禮開放直播錄影 四、祭祀公業設置獎助學金兼及非族親 五、尋求政府協助古蹟聚落維護經費 六、出版文史紀念圖錄The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the worship on the Chen family identity as well as the value of the Cheng Ancestral Temple rituals at the North Gate of Hsinchu by collecting relative documents about the history of the Cheng family and its worship rituals. The research methods are document analysis and in-depth interviews. Through the analysis of relevant historical archives and in-depth interviews with eight decedents of the Cheng family, the following outcomes are generated.1. The Cheng family devoted themselves to culture and education in Hsinchu under the name of Cheng, Yung-Hsi. 2. The Cheng Ancestor Worship Guild is constituted by founders, which family branches also established their Ancestor Worship Guild, respectively. The pedigree among these Ancestor Worship Guild are quite clear. 3. The heritage sites and numerous plaques of the Cheng family have become tangible and intangible cultural assets. 4. The worship rituals of the Cheng Ancestral Temple inspire descendants to reveal family identity.5. The worship rituals of the Cheng Ancestral Temple can be summarized of four values: gratitude to ancestors, pray for blessings, gathering of centripetal force and inheriting of family culture.6. The worship rituals of the Cheng family influence on family identity in five aspects: family honor, family admiration, family mission, family belonging, and family recognition.7. The future operation of the Cheng Ancestral Temple will focus on organizational improvement, public promotion, education and culture advocation, heritage maintenance and publishing.Based on the outcomes above, six suggestions are proposed for the Cheng family: 1. Establish entire regulations of the Ancestor Worship corporation. 2. Allow the public to visit the Cheng Ancestral Temple with advance reservation. 3. Live broadcast the worship rituals. 4. Provide scholarships for family successors and certain research subjects. 5. Seek government subsidies for heritage maintenance. 6. Publish commemorative books of the ancestral literature and history.
