自畫像-自我的超越
Abstract
藝術家畫自畫像的目的並不是為了賣畫賺錢,而是一種自我審視、自我質疑、自我表現或是證明自我存在的手法。筆者也正因為對於自我產生了質疑,而希望藉由這次的創作達到自我肯定並且展現自我。論文中先探究藝術家如何自我觀看,並引用拉岡的精神分析中〈鏡像階段〉的主體理論,來討論主體如何成型;接著研究在攝影術發明以後,對影像呈現所產生的變化。筆者針對創作內容探討男性的焦慮、自卑和慾望等心理問題;往下繼續深究藝術家自創作過程中的存在自覺,把慾望昇華為藝術創作。最後則透過照相寫實主義的攝影式繪畫準焦與失焦以及辛蒂.雪曼的自拍創作,來闡述筆者的創作。

The purpose of a self-portrait is not to make money for artists. Instead, it’s a way for self-evaluation, self-question and proving self-existence. The author had some self-doubt and would like to take advantage of the artistic creation to confirm and display himself. This study investigates how artists view themselves and quote”the mirror stage” in Jacques Lacan’s psychoanalysis to explore how objects are being shaped. It further explores the variation of presented images after photography was invented. In addition, the author discusses the male anxiety, inferior complexes, desires and some psychological issues. It furthers examines the self-consciousness during the process in his artistic creations and how he transforms desires into artistic creation. Finally, the author presents his work of art by the photographic focusing and defocusing applied in ultra realism and is inspired by the self-portrait of Cindy Sherman.
