國民中學音樂教師人格特質與工作壓力之調查研究

Abstract
本研究旨在瞭解不同背景變項的國中音樂教師在人格特質、工作壓力之差異情形,進而分析兩者間的相關程度,並同時探討教師人格特質對工作壓力之預測情形。本研究採調查研究法,以「國民中學音樂教師人格特質及工作壓力狀況之研究問卷」為研究工具,針對全臺音樂教師進行分層系統抽樣,抽取共146位國中音樂教師。問卷所得資料以平均數、表準差、t考驗、單因子變異數分析、皮爾森積差相關及多元迴歸分析等統計方法進行分析。研究結果如下:
一、國民中學音樂教師具有正向之人格特質。
二、國民中學音樂教師之「整體工作壓力」屬於中等偏高程度。
三、不同性別、教學年資長短、五年內指導音樂比賽與否、與本學期是否指導音樂比賽經驗等之國民中學音樂教師於部分人格特質達顯著差異
四、不同性別、教師身分差異、擔任不同職務、五年內指導音樂社團與否、與不同學校所在地等之國民中學音樂教師於部分工作壓力達顯著差異。
五、國民中學音樂教師之部分人格特質與工作壓力之間具有負相關。
六、國民中學音樂教師之「穩定性人格」及「開放性人格」對於工作壓力具有預測力。
最後,研究者根據研究結果,提出結論與具體建議,以供行政機關、學校單位與未來研究之參考。
The purpose of this study was to investigate the personality traits and job stress of music teachers at junior high schools in Taiwan. The relation between backgrounds, job loadings, personality, and job stress were analyzed and discussed. The questionnaire used in this study named “The junior high school music teachers' personality traits and job stress scale”. One hundred and forty-six questionnaires were sent out to music teachers of different junior high schools all over Taiwan. The collected data was analyzed and computed for means, standard deviations, t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The conclusions were as follows: 1. The overall personality traits of the junior high school music teachers were towards positive. 2. Junior high school music teachers’ overall job stress level was above middle-to-high level. 3. Regarding to the teachers’ personality traits, there were significant differences among genders, lengths of teaching, participation of the music competition within five years, and participation of the music competition in current semester. 4. Regarding to the teachers’ job stress, there were significant differences among genders, teaching positions, administration positions, and school locations. 5. There were significantly negative correlations between some personality traits and job stress. 6. The job stress was predictable based on some personality traits. Many suggestions were given for teachers, government, and further research in the future.
