日式動漫風格應用於台灣女性向手遊市場男性角色設計之創作研究

Abstract
2015年台灣躍升Google Play世界前五大市場,近72%的台灣玩家中、女性更佔多數,本研究目的為探討日系風格女性向手遊作品男性角色特質設計要素、並整合為系統作為本研究創作依據。
本研究藉由文獻分析法了解台灣手遊在2010後高速發展演變、台灣動漫歷史在70~90年間由於政策和大量引進日漫、致台灣市場大量充斥並深受影響,2000年後藉政府補助與推廣使漫畫新秀得以走進國際;以案例分析法分析2000~2019年間《寶島少年》與《夢夢》漫畫連載作品、整理近年影響台灣的日式動漫的繪畫風格特色,並與台灣自產女性向手遊作畫風格探討;以卡片分類法對2010~2019年TAP TAP中女性向遊戲篩選11件作品分層抽選出3部作品、57名角色輔41個不同服裝為分類樣本,由12位3年以上遊戲經驗玩家依「性格」、「特質」行兩次分類,以分類結果對女性向男性角色性格與特質系統建構,後以問卷調查方式與卡片分類、創作成品交互應證與修正。
最後歸納日式動漫風格具有「明暗階層簡化(平面化)、誇張的唯美比例、尖下巴、誇張的眼部比例和強調眼部非現實的作畫方式(水汪汪大眼)、更強調簡潔唯美」的表現技法特徵。透過卡片分類結果整理女性向男性角色7種基本特質類型:A.開朗活潑、B.文靜安靜、C.聰明、D.柔弱可愛、E.冷酷、F.笑裡藏刀或平易近人、G.難以相處或口是心非,以問卷調查對研究創作之角色對特質共感進行調查,發現部分特徵具互斥性和關鍵特質(僅一特徵具備、便產生該性格感受)。將以上歸納之表現技法與性格特質為原則、以「八家將」為主題行男角設計創作。
本研究透過玩家卡片分類玩家對角色外觀想法聚攏,整理7種特質運用在實際角色創作上發現人們對於日式動漫角色、如語言學「波巴奇奇效應」可產生共感,並能藉此整合出男角基礎性格模塊。
In 2015, Taiwan rose to the top five markets of Google Play in the world. Among nearly 72% of Taiwanese players, most of them are women. The purpose of this research is to explore the design considerations of male characters in Japanese style Josei-muke mobile games and integrate them into systematic data for the creative foundation of this research. This study uses document analysis to understand the instant development of Taiwan’s mobile games after 2010, the history of animation in Taiwan there’re large amounts of Japanese comics being introduced during 1970 to 1990 years due to policies which flood and cause a big influence on markets in Taiwan. After 2000, it made rookies possible to enter the world though the subsidy and promotion from government. Also, this study uses case study method to analysis the serialized comics “Formosa Youth” and “MONMON”, sort out drawing styles from Japanese anime style that affect Taiwan and explore the drawing style of Josei-muke mobile games made in Taiwan. Through the method of card sorting to select 11 works from Josei-muke mobile games of “TAP TAP” in 2010 to 2019 years and to select 3 works, 57 characters with 41 different costumes as samples of this research based on stratified sampling. Then classify samples twice according to “character”, “trait” by 12 players whom with more than 3 years of experience in game. This study built a system of character and trait in Josei-muke male characters based on the classification results then used questionnaire survey, card sorting and created final products to verify and correct interactively. Finally, this research concluded that the Japanese anime style has the following features on performance techniques such as “simplification of light and dark levels (planarization)”, “exaggerated perfect ratio”, “sharp chin”, “exaggerated eye ratio and a painting method that emphasizes the unrealistic eyes (doe-eyed)”, “more emphasizes on simplicity and aesthetics”. According to the results of card sorting, 7 basic trait types of Josei-muke male characters are sorted: A. Cheerful and lively, B. Gentle and quite, C. Smart, D. vulnerable and cute, E. Callous, F. Cover the dagger with a smile or approachable, G. Difficult to get along with or duplicity. Using questionnaire survey to investigate the empathy of trait in characters from the research and creation could found that some features are mutually exclusive and with key traits ( a particular trait could cause a feeling of a corresponding personality ). Induced the performance techniques and personality traits above as the principle to designed and created male characters with the theme of “The Eight of the Dead World”. In this study, players gathered their thoughts on the appearance of the characters through the card sorting, sorted out 7 characteristics which being used in actual creation on characters and found that people would generate empathy on Japanese anime characters just like the " Bouba/Kiki effect" from Linguistic, and then integrate basic personality modules for male characters.
