Abstract
本研究之目的在藉由廟會陣頭海報設計之創作表現,提昇國人對
民俗文化的興趣與關注。研究之設計係以本土文化中深具特色的廟會
陣頭為主題,以海報設計為主軸,經由創作的表現,讓此一本土活動
特色更精緻與通俗化,並借通俗淺顯,以吸引各階層的人士,來關心
民俗活動。
研究中以海報方式為主軸是考量其方便、經濟、普及的視覺傳達
設計。研究之進行先從文獻中整理出視覺傳達設計及海報設計的基本
概念,以作為創作的理論基礎。海報設計的內容選用廟會陣頭表演圖
像,係因其深具本土民俗文化之特色。此部份亦先從文獻中整理出廟
會陣頭的歷史背景、內容及表演形式,再作精簡的圖文介紹說明。本
研究之海報創作表現是以選取陣頭活動中具有代表性的內容、人物、
器物造型等,利用影像處理軟體( Ado b e Ph o to s hop)作剪接編排及畫
面效果處理,全部表現皆強調內容熱鬧、色彩炫麗的圖像組合,力求
精緻與通俗化。並經由實地親自參與廟會活動,將所見所聞做記錄,
以充實文獻資料不足之處。同時也對現階段廟會活動的現況及困境,
提出一些個人看法與建言。
The purpose of this study is to increase our concerns of Taiwan’s localization based culture through creating design, using temple festival gala’s performing art poster. Posters of the idiosyncratic temple festival gala’s performing art groups are the target graphic images in this design. It is this design’s attempt by refining and popularizing this traditional culture performing art works, thus to attract more interests and efforts in this field. In this study, poster’s format is selected for its communicating efficiency and popularity; temple festival gala’s performing art graphic image is selected for its unique characteristic as traditional culture. Through the literature review of both visual communication design and poster design theories, creation concepts of this design was derived. The final graphic image data of this design were carefully examined with literature and historical exploration, and simplified descriptions of each picture are included. Further representative images are selected to create this design. Computerized software program (Adobe Photoshop) is used to editing and reorganizing images. Overall presentation is emphasized the importance of the richness of the activity and multicolored image combination and is enforced with sophistication and popularity. An extra field study with personal involvement was carried out by the author, to collect and record real data in improving the quality of this study. And further suggestion and implication are thus based and offered to the current problems facing this traditional culture activity.
