氧協同多重菸鹼酸鉻複合物與U!behi能量嚼錠對有氧及無氧運動表現的影響

Abstract

摘要 目的:探討氧協同多重菸鹼酸鉻複合物 (NBC) 及U!behi能量嚼錠 (UBE) 增補對有氧及無氧運動表現的影響。方法:受試者為12名體育科系男性學生,分別接受三次最大有氧運動能力(原地跑步機,Bruce protocol)及最大無氧運動能力測驗(原地腳踏車之Wingate無氧動力測驗)。每次測驗前15分鐘以雙盲方式,分別給予不同之增補膠囊(NBC、UBE或安慰劑;劑量均為200μg)。實驗參數包含有氧運動表現(最大攝氧量、衰竭時間、運動後過攝氧量)及無氧運動表現(平均動力輸出、最大動力輸出、達到最大動力輸出時間、疲勞遞減率)等參數。結果:在有氧運動表現方面,受試者增補NBC及UBE後之最大攝氧量 (NBC:53.3 ± 4.9 ml/kg/min, UBE:53.5 ± 4.86 ml/kg/min) 及衰竭時間(NBC:14.73 ± 1.02 min, UBE:14.93 ± 1.05 min),皆顯著高於增補安慰劑 (50.7 ± 4.7 ml/kg/min, 14.4 ± 1.01 min ; p<.05) ,且增補UBE後之衰竭時間又顯著高於增補NBC。在無氧運動表現方面,受試者增補NBC及UBE後之最大動力輸出 (NBC:970.6 ± 76.9 W, UBE:993.8 ± 134.4 W) ,皆顯著高於增補安慰劑 (887.3 ± 81.6 W; p<.05) 。結論:NBC與UBE增補均能有效改善有氧運動及無氧運動之表現。若單就運動衰竭時間而言,由於UBE內含NBC及碳水化合物等其他成份,所以增補UBE更具有加成之效果。 關鍵詞:最大攝氧量、衰竭時間、最大動力輸出
Abstract Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of oxygen-coordinated niacin-bound chromium (NBC) and U!behi Energy-chewing pill (UBE) supplement on aerobic and anaerobic performance. Methods: Twelve physical education male students performed a baseline graded treadmill test (Bruce protocol) and Wingate test for three times. All subjects took different capsules (NBC, UBE or placebo) before aerobic performance test for 15 minutes under double-blind controlled. We measured aerobic performance parameter (VO2max, time to exhaustion, EPOC, lactate, and glucose) and anaerobic performance parameter (mean power, peak power, time to peak power, fatigue index, lactate, and glucose). Results: After NBC and UBE supplement, participants were significantly increased in VO2max (NBC:53.3 ± 4.9 ml/kg/min, UBE:53.5 ± 4.86 ml/kg/min) and time to exhaustion (NBC: 14.73 ± 1.02 min, UBE:14.93 ± 1.05 min) than placebo supplement (50.7 ± 4.7 ml/kg/min, 14.4 ± 1.01 min ; p<.05), in addition, after UBE supplement, the time to exhaustion of participants were significantly increased than NBC supplement. With regard to the anaerobic performance, the peak power was significantly increased after NBC and UBE supplement (NBC:970.6 ± 76.9 W, UBE:993.8 ± 134.4 W) than placebo supplement (887.3 ± 81.6 W; p<.05). Conclusions: Both NBC and UBE supplement improved aerobic and anaerobic performance. As for time to exhaustion, UBE contains NBC, carbohydrate and other components, so UBE had higher efficiency on time to exhaustion. Key words: VO2max, time to exhaustion, peak power
