Abstract

隨著經濟快速發展,人們的生活水準也不斷提升,對於辦公環境的要求也相對提高,其中辦公桌在辦公環境中扮演著核心角色,在設計上不僅只是使用功能的需求外,外觀的造形與美感,更加希望能讓使用者產生心理上的愉悅感受。然而,目前台灣在辦公桌設計的優劣僅取決於使用功能性,在產品設計的美感與情感互動上,則相形忽視,進而影響工作的情緒反應。因此,辦公桌的設計如何能以情感內涵為基礎,獲得使用者的青睞與認同,進而達到產品價值及消費者的購買動機,應是辦公桌設計的重要課題。本研究主要目的即為探討情感設計與辦公桌設計之關聯性,藉由情感的表現結合於辦公桌設計創作,觀察辦公桌與人們的直接關係,掌握情感設計對於人們心理層面所產生的價值及重要性。本研究以四階段進行創作設計,第一階段以文獻探討針對辦公家具發展、辦公桌設計、情感設計相關文獻進行歸納整理;第二階段以KJ法蒐集國外知名品牌辦公桌共50款進行彙整歸類,再透過KJ法篩選出12款市售辦公桌,進行情感設計「本能表現」、「行為表現」、「反思表現」三種層次深入探討與分析;第三階段以深度訪談法使受訪者表達真實想法與觀點,作為辦公桌創作之參考方向;第四階段創作成果以文獻探討、KJ法分析與受訪者的訪談之依據與結果,獲得正面的情感感受及辦公桌設計的關鍵因素並進行辦公桌設計。本研究創作主要針對於辦公桌設計,能呈現多種情感表現之創作作品,並實踐將情感因素融入於辦公桌設計。本研究創作結論為:(1)辦公桌以人為本的尺度設計,直接影響使用者的舒適感受,為辦公桌融入情感設計的優先考量條件;(2)辦公桌的外觀設計,結合文化特色與增加使用價值,易產生吸引力並與使用者增加情感的連結;(3)辦公桌設計以體驗感受及專屬化創意之互動過程,可激發使用者的創意靈感及個人心理滿足,獲得實質的正面情感價值。
As the economy grows rapidly, our living standard continuously improves. The rising demands also reflect on the requirements for working environment, in which office desks are the core element. Along with functionality, style and aesthetics, what the design of office desks wishes to achieve more is to help users derive physio-pleasure. However, currently in Taiwan, a good office table design depends solely on the functions it accommodates. This design thinking neglects the aesthetics of a product and users’ emotional interactions with it, influencing users’ emotional responses at work. Therefore, it is crucial that how the design of office desks could be developed centering on emotional expressions to earn users’ affections and recognitions, which will further build product values and generate consumer buying motives.The main purpose of this study is to research the relation between emotional design and office desks. By including emotion expressions into office table design, in this study we observed the direct relationship between office desks and people, and gained insights into the values and significance that emotional design has delivered to people on the mental level. The study consists of four stages. In the first stage, literatures on the development of office furniture, office design and emotional design were reviewed. For the second stage, 50 office desks with different styles from foreign renowned brands were collected and classified. 12 commercially available office desks were then selected using KJ method, and were further explored and analyzed focusing on the three dimensions in emotional design “visceral level”, “behavioral level” and “reflective level”. In-depth interviews were conducted in the third stage in order to explore the interviewees’ perspectives, which then were served as references for the office table design in the next stage. In the final designing stage, from the combined result of literature reviews, KJ analysis and the interviews, the key design factors that evokes positive emotional experience were determined and adopted to create office table design.The current study focuses on the design of office desks, atype of creations that could express multiple emotions, and demonstrates the incorporating of emotion elements into office table design. The conclusion of this study includes (1) human-oriented design structure of office desks directly affects user comfort, and should be the priority while presenting emotional design on office desks; (2) appearance characteristics that integrate cultural features and increase use values would easily engage people’s attention and enhance emotional connections; (3) the interactions along with the process of office table design provide users with the experience of participating and customized creativity, which could unleash users’ creative thinking and fulfill them mentally while delivering actual positive emotional values.
