連結主義應用於高中地理教學-以學生共同編輯維基百科西亞詞條為例

Abstract

本研究主要使用因應科技時代來臨,應運而生的教學理論「連結主義」,進行教學設計並評估教學成果及成效,提供連結主義在台灣的實證研究的紀錄和資料。同時為呼應近年來興起的教育改革,十二年國民基本教育中所強調的素養教育,將課程教學目標與素養能力串聯,提升學生公民素養、資訊素養、媒體識讀等多項學生面對未來挑戰所需具備之知識、能力與態度。經文獻探究後研究者設計連結主義式的教學模組,安排在為期一學期的選修課程中,引導學生使用維基百科工具修改西亞詞條內容,以團體探索法作為教學策略,設立分組合作學習平台,將學生進行異質分組,最後以維基(wiki)百科作為成果展現平台,為了評估連結主義學習模組的學習成果,使用多元評量,調查認知、情意與技能目標的達成狀況,包含使用學生歷程檔案(實作、書面報告),學生回饋問卷,學習滿意度問卷,以及教師參與紀錄進行學習歷程分析,了解教學內容成效,進行質化與量化分析。 研究結果發現連結主義的教學模組能幫助學生素養能力的提升,也能強化學生對與西亞的認知,跨學科合作也能培養學生整合學習內容的能力,提高學生的學習動機,幫助達成十二年國民教育所期望的素養教育目標。
The aim of this study was to utilize “connectivism”, a teaching theory that emerged in the era of science and technology, to design curriculums and to analyze its effect, and further build a database regarding the empirical research of connectivism in Taiwan. Meanwhile, due to the recent education reform, students’ ability to solve problems on their own is highly emphasized in the teaching objectives. Following this guideline, the researcher designed an instructional module in which students are required to edit the Wikipedia page about Western Asia. Teaching method includes group investigation and collaborative teaching. In order to assess the outcome of the module, researcher asked students to take quizzes, give feedback on questionnaires, and hand in a portfolio of their work. The result shows that the teaching model of connectivism helps them to not only enhance their problem-solving skills, but also deepen their understanding of Western Asia. Last but not least, it builds up students' ability to integrate what they have learned, which motivates them to explore further and reach the goal of set by the education reform.
