游泳教練運動生涯轉換經驗與對選手生涯教育之研究

Abstract
現今運動教練之責任或任務不再僅限於競技比賽的成績上,更涵括了運動選手生涯 面向之規劃;故,本研究藉由訪問兩位有國手背景之游泳教練,瞭解教練運動生涯轉換 的過程和解決困難的方式,及在當上教練之後如何輔導運動選手準備生涯轉換,以利完 成生涯轉換。透過質性研究取向,瞭解游泳教練的生涯轉換經驗與對選手的生涯教育內 涵,並使用主題分析法分類、歸納,提煉出有意義的內容。研究結果,兩位游泳教練的 生涯轉換經歷可分為進入游泳初期,和各升學階段對游泳生涯的經驗,及邁向游泳教練 之路等過程,且皆在「跨階段的游泳訓練」之初期遇到轉換的困難,但應對的方式則不 同,洛雁教練以改變自己心態的方式來面對新的訓練環境,辰妤教練則找到零碎時間做 自我加強以跟上訓練強度;在輔導選手生涯轉換的部份兩位教練所使用的方式皆不相 同,洛雁教練利用外部資源來幫助選手,像是邀請頂尖的運動選手和教練前來分享自身 經驗;辰妤教練則透過家長的參與和其他內部資源來幫助選手。因此,運動選手必須調 適好自已在競技運動項目上的心態以克服各種生涯轉換的困難,避免放棄選手的身份, 教練也需隨時注意,利用內外部資源來輔導選手準備生涯轉換。
The responsibility or task of sports coaches is no longer limited to the results of competitive games, but also covers the planning of sports players' careers nowadays. Therefore, in this study, we interviewed two swimming coaches with national backgrounds to understand the process of coaching career transitions and ways to resolve difficulties, and how to guide athletes to prepare for their career transitions after becoming coaches. Through the qualitative research and the subject analysis method to classify, summarize and extract precise and meaningful content in order to understand that swimming coach's career transitions experience and the connotation of the player’s career. At the results, the career transition experience of the two swimming coaches can be divided into the swimming career experience at the initial stage, each stage of educational progression, and the way to be swimming instructor. These three phases all encountered various difficulties in conversions under “cross-level swimming training” situation but they have different faiths and methods to deal with it. Coach Z changes his mind-set to face the new training environment, and Coach C uses fragmented time to strengthen himself to keep up with the training schedule. In guide the players for career transition, the two coaches use different methods. Coach Z uses external resources to help the players, such as inviting top sports players and coaches to share their experiences; Coach C uses parents' participation and other internal resources to help players. Therefore, sports players must adjust their mentality in competitive sports to overcome the difficulties of various career transitions, and avoid giving up their identity. Coaches also need to pay attention at any time and use internal and external resources to coach players to prepare for career transitions.
