妥瑞症兒童之認識與其學習適應問題之探討

Abstract
近幾年來國內特殊教育日益受到重視,然而妥瑞症見童所得到的關注卻相當有限,對許多人而言「妥瑞症」仍是個相當陌生的醫學名詞。主要的目的引領讀者認識妥瑞症及其相關病癥,從國內外相關文獻中,進一步了解妥瑞症兒童在學校或家庭生活中所面臨的適應問題。期待能增加老師及家長對委瑞症的認識,面對妥瑞症兒童時能更有包容的心及明確的方向。最後建議面對妥瑞兒的教養問題時,除了能對妥瑞症有正確的認識外也能做到充分的溝通及配合,始能減輕家長及老師的壓力且給予妥瑞兒最大的協助。
During the past few years, special education has gained a great deal of attention except children with Tourette syndrome. The purpose of this article was to review about Tourette syndrome and its various symptoms. Related adjustment issues were discussed while children with Tourette's syndrome were at school or home by reviewing research studies. It was suggested that teachers and parents needed to have more patience and understanding of the Tourette syndrome while they were dealing with TS children. Full communication and cooperation between teachers and parents of children with Tourette's syndrome was the only way to ease pressure and to provide the greatest assistance.
