Abstract
本研究旨在透過新住民社工服務新二代過程中所累積的實務工作經驗,以及其在服務過程所面臨的挑戰與因應策略,以了解新二代服務實務現況並提出相關研究建議和看法。本研究共邀請北、東、離島地區的八位受訪者參與研究。本研究結論如下:一、在新住民社工提供新二代的服務中,現行服務要與多元文化優勢相結合。培力計畫的實施有助於新二代成長發展,其目標在於促進新二代對於多元文化的認知,也是新二代提升自信力及激發潛在優勢能力的重要管道。
二、新住民社工服務新二代需具備的能力與反思,包括察覺新二代具備的優勢(興趣或特長),尤其在服務海歸新二代時,需具備對於多元文化敏感度的接納、同理及自我察覺。
三、新住民社工服務新二代的挑戰,大多來源於家庭和新二代自身面向,處遇時需因應服務需求制定相關計畫。
四、新住民社工在新二代服務上的建議,包括促進跨部門合作與交流,以此縮小社工服務的城鄉差異;持續提升社工專業能力的培育,如:強化社工職前、在職的專業訓練、以及外聘督導的協助,從而增強自身多元文化勝任能力。
The research aims to understand the new immigrant social workers' experiences for services to new immigrant children and youth. A qualitative study was conducted. Eight new immigrant social workers were participated with in-depth interview. The verbatim transcriptions were subsequently analyzed. The conclusions are as follows: 1. The current services provided for new immigrant children and youth should be combined with the advantages of multiculturalism. The implementation of the empowerment program is conducive to the growth and development of new immigrant children and youth. The objective is to promote multiculturalism cognition of children and youth while being an important channel for them to enhance their self-confidence and stimulate their potential strengthens.2. Abilities required and reflections of new immigrant social workers serving new immigrant children and youth including recognizing their advantages (interests or specialties). The social workers should insist on acceptance, empathy, and self-awareness of multicultural sensitivity when serving new immigrant children and youth. 3. Challenges faced by new immigrant social workers when serving new immigrant children and youth, which mostly originate from families, requiring formulating corresponding plans according to service demands when handling such challenges.4. Suggestions for new immigrant social workers when serving new immigrant children and youth including promoting multi-agency collaboration; constantly improving the cultivation of social workers’ professional competencies.
