Abstract

本研究旨在探討大學鼓勵教師從事教學實踐研究以促進教學實踐研究升等上,施行的原因、作法、挑戰及因應策略。本研究以質性取徑的個案研究法,主要透過訪談方式,依不同升等背景的教師進行抽樣,合計8名,另再以文件分析為輔,進行相關資料的蒐集、分析與彙整,提出研究結論,並據以提供建議。主要研究結果包括:一、個案學校以教學實踐研究計畫推動教學實踐研究升等的原因,包括教育部政策的配合、學校體制結構的呼應、教師教學職責的落實。二、個案學校以教學實踐研究計畫推動教學實踐研究升等的作法,包括學校組織規劃的法規修訂、輔導補助資源推動、行政支持落實;教師自主實踐的教學實務活動、學術性教學活動(ST)、教與學的學術活動(SoTL)。三、個案學校以教學實踐研究計畫推動教學實踐研究升等的挑戰,包含教師的教學實踐研究論文撰寫與發表、學校的配套法規、學術氛圍、升等準則制定,大多挑戰有待因應。
The purpose of this study is to investigate the reasons, the measures, the challenges and its solutions regarding a university engagingits faculty in the Teaching Practice Research Program to promote teaching practice and research promotion. Through a qualitative approach, the data were collected mainly from interviews with 8 faculty members with different promotion tracks. Documents also serve as the complementary source of the investigation. Through data collecting, analyzing, and summarizing, conclusions are drawn and suggestions are made. The key findings of this study include:1.The reasons of the case university engaging the faculty in the Teaching Practice Research Program to promote teaching practice and research promotion include compliance to the policy of the Ministry of Education, the structure of the university, and fulfillment of the faculty’s teaching duties.2.The measures of the case university engaging the faculty in the Teaching Practice Research Program to promote teaching practice and research promotion include the amendment of regulations, promotion of teaching resources, and execution of administrative supports; while the faculty's are associated with activities in practice of teaching, ST, and SoTL. 3.The challenges of the case university engaging the faculty in the Teaching Practice Research Program to promote teaching practice and research promotion include the papers on SoTL, regulations on teaching evaluation, campus climate and criteria pertaining to teaching practice and research promotion. Most solutions to the challenges are to be addressed.
