體適能成績納入高中職申請入學特別條件加分
之調查研究
摘要
本研究以基北區(台北市、台北縣、基隆市)國民中學國三學生、學生家長、教職員為研究對象,主要探討體適能成績納入高中職申請入學之特別條件的實施現況,並比較不同身份受試者的看法及意見。本研究以問卷調查法及訪談的方式蒐集資料,共取得有效問卷874份,資料整理後以次數分配、百分比及卡方考驗進行統計分析,卡方考驗顯著時,以事後比較分析不同受試者間的差異。整理訪談內容與調查結果交叉檢視,得到以下結果:
一、97學年度基北區約有三分之一的高中職將體適能成績納入申請入學特別條件加分,加分類型計有六類,加分範圍不大,各校標準不一。
二、學生及教職員明顯的較學生家長瞭解體適能成績證明文件的取得方法。
三、學生及教職員明顯的較學生家長支持體適能成績納入申請入學的特別條件。
四、體適能成績納入申請入學的特別條件,大多數受試者認為:
1.可使入學管道更多元化:學生的肯定度明顯高過學生家長。
2.有助重視體育之推展:學生的認同度明顯高過教職員及家長。
3.有助學生重視學科以外的學習:但學生家長同意度明顯低落(38.9%)。
4.提供學生參與運動的誘因:教職員的認同度明顯的高過學生家長。
5.有助提昇學生的體適能水準:學生贊同度明顯高過學生家長。
6.會增加學生的負擔:學生家長的認同度明顯高過學生與教職員(49.3%)。
7.會增加教師的教學壓力:學生家長同意度明顯高過學生。
8.有助加強家長對體適能的認知:三種身分看法一致。
9.有助學生及早養成規律運動習慣:三種身分看法一致。
10.對身障學生不公平:學生與學生家長認同度明顯高過教職員(44.9%)。
總結本研究發現:體適能成績納入申請入學特別條件加分,已獲得基北區有33%高中職學校的支持,並獲得國中端國三學生、學生家長及教職員正向的支持與認同。為增加成效建議教育主管機關應明訂獎勵辦法及增辦說明會場次,以繼續鼓勵各縣市高中職採計體適能成績為申請入學的特別加分條件,為減低各界對增加學生負擔、教師壓力與對身障學生不公平的疑慮,應特別加強對國中端相關人員特別是學生家長的宣導,並廣設體適能檢測站以建立體適能成績的公信力。

A Survey Study on Fitness Performance Taken into Particularly Additional Scoring for Entrance Application of Normal and Vocational High School Abstract The experimental subjects was sampled from junior high school students, parents and school faculties around Keelung and Taipei regions (Taipei City, Taipei County and Keelung City). It was aimed to explore the implemented situations for particular conditions with fitness performance additionally taken into the entrance appraisal for normal and vocational high schools. Also, the viewpoints of the aforesaid respondents like students, parents and faculties were compared and analyzed. This research was operated with questionnaires and personal interview for data gathering. There were 874 valid replies received totally. After compilation, the statistical analysis was implemented by using frequency distribution, percentage and Chi-square tests. The significant results screened by Chi-square tests were further implemented with the Scheffe Method for posterior comparison to find the variance from respondents. After compiling the interview contents and survey results, double check was implemented to reach the conclusion as below: 1. In 2008 school year, there had been nearly one-third normal and vocational high school students with fitness performance additionally taken into particularly additional scoring for entrance appraisal. There were totally 6 types of additional scoring for entrance appraisal. The additional scoring was rated only in a narrow range but no unanimous standard found. 2. Students and school faculties apparently knew much more about the ways to apply for fitness performance transcripts than parents. 3. Students and school faculties apparently showed stronger support to special conditions with fitness performance taken for entrance application than parents. 4. In response to fitness performance taken as special conditions for entrance application, most respondents supposed: 1)”There would be more divergent channels for entrance available.” - Students showed stronger support than parents. 2) “It would be helpful to emphasize development of physical education.” - Students apparently showed stronger approval than school faculties and parents. 3) “It would drive students to emphasize extracurricular learning.” - However, parents showed apparently lower approval (38.9%). 4) “It provided students with incentives for sports involvement.” - School faculties apparently showed stronger approval than parents. 5) “It would be helpful to improve fitness levels of students.” - Students showed apparently stronger approval than parents. 6) “There would be more burden on students.” - Parents showed apparently stronger approval than school faculties (49.3%). 7) “There would be more education pressure on teachers.” - Parents showed apparently stronger approval than students. 8) “It would be helpful to enhance parents' cognition on fitness.” - 3 categories of respondents showed unanimous viewpoints totally. 9) “It would be helpful for students to build regular habits for sports involvement.” - 3 categories of students showed unanimous viewpoints totally. 10) “It would be unfair to the disabled students.” - Students and parents should apparently stronger approval than school faculties (44.9%). To sum up research results, some facts were found. The fitness performance taken into particularly additional scoring for entrance application had been supported by one-third normal and vocational high schools around Keelung and Taipei regions. The proposal was also positively accepted and supported by junior high 3rd-graders, parents and school faculties. To enhance the efficacy, it was highly recommended the education authorities should publicly regulate reward measures and host more roadshow meeting. It would be adequate to continuously inspire normal and vocational high schools from various cities and counties to allow for additional scoring of entrance appraisal with fitness performance taken into appraisal. To reduce students' burden, teachers' pressure and the doubt casted for possible unfair treatment to the disabled students, it was required for propaganda dedicated to students and parents aggressively promoted by the authorities of junior high school education.
