Abstract

本創作研究是以「光影的視覺意象」為題,使用油彩及複合媒材進行創作,從主題的發想連結到筆者自身的成長歷程與生命經驗,嘗試將影子反客為主作為畫面重點,以凸顯影子的象徵寓意。藉由實際的繪畫創作,加上理性的文字書寫與學理研究,試著把不可視的內心世界透過圖像表達出來。本創作研究論述,包含「緒論」、「創作學理基礎」、「創作理念與技法研究」、「作品解析」、「結論」等五大章節。 根據研究目的所進行蒐集、閱讀、整理的相關文獻資料,首先從光線和色彩之間的關係談起,從畫作中分析光的運用類型,以及色彩理論的發展對藝術流派的影響。此外,解析影子的形成與樣貌,分別就物理性與象徵性的角度來了解影子在畫作中扮演何種角色及功能。進一步的從藝術史中尋找與本研究主題相應的藝術家,深入了解其對光影在畫作上的表現與詮釋,使本創作能依循前輩畫家的基礎而有更豐富的表現。 以相關的文獻研究作為創作的啟發,筆者對主題的繪畫實踐,藉由反覆的技法試驗以及情感內化,試圖表達出明確的意涵,本創作研究分為五個系列來呈現,包括「直觀式的影子描繪」、「反客為主的影子角色」、「投影式的圖像結構」、「逆光式的形影表現」、「自動性技法之光影律動」,在各系列作品中,除了闡述創作理念與表現內容外,並對作品的表現技法及形式媒材作分析解讀,最後檢視與回顧創作歷程及成果,期望自身的思維與技法更加精進,也企盼引起觀者內心的情感共鳴。
The purpose of this study is based on the “visual images of light and shadow”. It was created by oil paint and mixed-media materials. From the idea of the theme to the author's own growing process and life experiences, focusing on the deconstructive point of view of shadow and interchangeability of host-guest paradigm to present the symbolic meaning of shadow. Through the creation of painting, coupled with rational writing and academic research, the author expresses the invisible inner world via images. The discourse of this study contains five chapters “Introduction”, “Foundation of the Theory of Creation”, “Research on Creations of Concept& Technique”, “Work Analysis” and “Conclusion”. Collecting and reading relevant literatures according to the purpose of this study, the author first explains the relationship between light and color, analyzes how different types of light to be used in painting, and influences development of color theory in genre analysis of art. In addition, the author analyzes the formation and appearance of the shadow, and understands the role and function of the shadow in the painting from the physical and symbolic angles. Further searching for corresponding artists to the subject of this study from the history of art, and in-depth understanding of their expression and interpretation of light and shadow in paintings. Hence this study can follow the foundation of the predecessor painters and have a richer expression. Inspired by the relevant literature research, the author expresses a clear meaning through repeated technical experiments and emotional internalization of the subject's painting practice. This study is divided into five series to present, “Intuitive Depiction of Shadow”, “Interchangeability character of Host-guest Paradigm of Shadow”, “Projective Image Structure”, “Backlight-type Shadow Expression”, “Automatic Technique of the Brandish of the Light and Shadow”. In each series of works, except to elaborating the concept and performance content, analyzing and interpreting works’ expression techniques and form media, and finally reviewing the creation process and achievements, expecting own thinking and techniques will be more sophisticated, and to arouse the emotional resonance of the viewer's heart.
