| zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | This study developed a gesture-based multimedia presentation to assist student in memorizing the cloud categories. By using Microsoft Kinect, a set of pre-defined gestures was designed to control a PowerPoint presentation of cloud categories. Students can perform the pre-defined gestures to assess the knowledge about cloud categories. The analysis on students’ pre- and post-knowledge tests revealed that the students acquired the knowledge about cloud categories quite well right after the instruction. Moreover, six months later, students still remembered more than half of the content of cloud categories. The results indicated that, as an alternative teaching approach, the gesture-based multimedia presentation is feasible to assist student in memorizing the cloud categories. | en_US |
