Abstract
This study aims to explore the relationship between work passion and helping behavior, with organizational identification as a mediating variable. A questionnaire survey was conducted among approximately 218 full-time executives from the Sunshine Foundation and its affiliated units: Sunshine Gas Station, Sunshine Car Care Center, and Sunshine Activity Center, where the researcher was employed. A total of 104 valid responses were collected, achieving a response rate of 47.7%. Data analysis was performed using SPSS and JASP. The results reveal a positive relationship between harmonious passion and helping behavior, while the relationship between obsessive passion and helping behavior is not supported. Organizational identification partially mediates the relationship between harmonious passion and helping behavior, but does not mediate the relationship between obsessive passion and helping behavior. Finally, this study discusses the findings, and proposes practical implications and suggestions for future research.
