Abstract

本篇是研究用於圓偏振高分子發光二極體的掌性添加物和非掌性共軛高分子聚合物的混合材料的特性本篇所使用的材料為PFO(Poly(9,9-dioctylfluorenyl-2,7-diyl)),去搭配R/S-811((R)/(S)-Octan-2-yl 4-((4-(hexyloxy)benzoyl)oxy)benzoate)來看其光學特性。本研究發現隨著摻雜比例的提升,其CD(circular dichroism)光譜跟CPL(circularly polarized luminescence)光譜的特性也會升高,而且其效率很高(GLUM=0.03),並且發現可以藉由R/S-811搭配退火作業能引導出β相的PFO,由於β相的PFO比起晶格相的PFO有不少好處,因此能引導出β相的PFO這點對於未來要做成元件具有很大。
This study investigates the characteristics of mixtures of chiral additives and non-chiral conjugated polymer materials for circularly polarized polymer light-emitting diodes (CP-PLEDs). The material used in this study is PFO (Poly(9,9-dioctylfluorenyl-2,7-diyl)) in combination with R/S-811 ((R)/(S)-Octan-2-yl 4-((4-(hexyloxy)benzoyl)oxy)benzoate) to examine their optical properties.The study found that with increasing doping ratio, the CD (circular dichroism)spectra and CPL(circularly polarized luminescence) spectra of the materials also increase. Moreover, the efficiency is high (GLUM=0.03). It was also found that annealing with R/S-811 can induce the formation of the β-phase of PFO. The β-phase of PFO has many advantages over the crystalline phase, making it promising for future device applications.
