諸天述說祂的榮耀，穹蒼傳揚祂的手段。天地萬物都是神所創造的，當我們看到陸地海洋、日月星辰與花草樹木，無不讚嘆神的偉大。騷人墨客睹物思情，對著明月傾吐內心的真情，有感而發，於是創作了詩詞。音樂家又為它譜上動人的樂章，這一場學位音樂會就是以「最美麗的花園」為主題，花園裡有花鳥樹魚、日月星辰的美景，讓我們一窺聲樂曲的美妙。本場演唱會曲目包含了德、義、法及中文歌曲；包含浪漫派和印象派音樂家的作品。中文歌曲包含了黃自、勞景賢的經典之作和江蘇民歌，以及本土音樂家郭芝苑等人的作品，為能更深入了解這些歌曲，每章介紹一位音樂家的生平或歌曲類型，每一節介紹一首歌曲，並附歌詞、中文翻譯、歌曲分析及樂曲詮釋。

The theme of this concert is “The Most Beautiful Garden,” a garden replete with the brilliance of flowers, lushness of trees, chirping of birds, gurgling of creeks, and glittering of skies. This vocal concert welcomes you to a glimpse of this beauty through song. The concert repertoire consists of German, Italian, French and Chinese songs. Spanning the Baroque to Impressionism periods, Western musicians include Schumann, Bellini, and Debussy. Chinese songs include works by Huang Zi, Lao Jingxian and Jiangsu folk songs, as well as local musicians like Kuo Chih Yuan. Lyrics, Chinese translation, and song analysis are provided for all to familiarize themselves with the beauty of this garden in full.
