The numbers of the temporary workers are increasing in Taiwan. Although policies and welfare were developed for these certain workers, uncertain feelings still exist in their mind, they tend to be more proactive on behaving on the performance in order to keep their job. Based on these conditions, this research aims to investigate the relationship between proactive personality and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) with mediating effect of organizational socialization, under the control of education level, task interdependence, and job insecurity. The sample was collected for 389 temporary workers working in public institutions in Taiwan by using paper-based questionnaires. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to test mediating effect. Organizational socialization did fully mediate the relationship between proactive personality and organizational citizenship behavior. The findings implied that through well organizational socialization, employees would have OCB as a feedback to their colleagues.
