Abstract

Information society is becoming the catchword in modern society. However, most of us are not really understand its real meaning, not even its problems. This article intends to clarify the various definitions of information society first, and then tries to bring to light and criticize the myth of the information society, andthe critical issues (such as infoglut, info-rich and info-poor, and information commodity) along with it.
