Abstract
圖書館的服務從過去以紙本館藏為主,發展迄今以電子館藏為要,本研究透過整合性科技接受理論(UTAUT)探究影響空大學生電子館藏使用意圖之因素,並對空大學生的電子館藏使用行為進行調查,並以整合性科技接受理論為問卷設計之架構,利用問卷方式進行研究,總計回收392份問卷,其中有效問卷為377分,有效問卷回收率為83%,資料分析採用SPSS統計軟體,以敘述統計、因素分析、相關分析、多元迴歸分析、獨立樣本t檢定、單因子變異數分析等方法進行量化統計分析。研究結果顯示:(一)有四成四的空大學生「未曾使用過」圖書館所提供的電子館藏,主要原因為「不知道圖書館有提供電子館藏」;(二)空大學生主要是在「家中」使用圖書館電子館藏,最常使用的類型為「電子資料庫」,最有興趣的主題為傾向與課程相關的內容;(三)空大學生在使用圖書館電子館藏所面臨到的困難為「遇到使用上的問題時無法即時詢問館員」;(四)空大學生的「電子館藏使用意圖」與學校或圖書館的「幫助條件」密不可分;(五)空大學生對圖書館電子館藏的「使用意圖」受到「社會影響」最大,其次為「努力期望」,最後為「績效期望」。本研究結果發現,影響空大學生圖書館電子館藏使用意圖的因素,符合整合性科技接受理論,惟研究結果發現「幫助條件」和「使用意圖」融合為同一因素,顯示遠距學習的成人學生在使用電子館藏時,可能需要更多的支援,亦即未來空大圖書館在提供電子館藏服務時應要強化使用指引及即時諮詢等支援服務,並加強電子資源使用之課程。
The service provided by library had been mainly the borrowing of books. Until recently e-collections have become a principal source of information. This study explores the usage behavior of students studying at National Open University (NOU) toward the e-collection and the factors that influence their intention to use the e-collection through analyzing the factors that affect usage intention and usage behavior in Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology(UTAUT). In the study a questionnaire survey was carried out. Totally 392 questionnaires were responded, among them 377 were valid and the valid response rate is 83%. SPSS Statistics is used to carry out quantitative statistical analyses by means of descriptive statistics, factor analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, independent samples T test, and one-way ANOVA. The results of study show: 1. There are 44% of NOU students “have never used” the e-collection collection provided by the library, the major reason for which is that “they don’t know that the e-collection collection is provided by the library”; 2. NOU students most often use the e-collection “at home”, the most widely used type is “database”, and the subjects they are most interested in are those contents related to the curriculum; 3. When NOU students used the e-collection of the library, the greatest difficulty they have perceived is that “they could not consult a librarian when they had questions about the usage of the system”; 4. NOU students’ intention to use the e-collection collection” is closely related to the university’s or the library’s “facilitating conditions”; 5. The NOU students’ “intention to use” the e-collection collection of the library is most affected by “social influence”, then the “effort expectancy”, thirdly the “performance expectancy”. The results of this study found that the factors that influence NOU students’ intention to use the e-collection are in line with the UTAUT, but the study found the“facilitating conditions”and“intention”fusion to the same factor, it shows that adult of distance learning students may need more support in the use of electronic collections, and the NOU library should be to strengthen the use of the guidelines, the instant consulting services, and electronic resource use courses.
