Abstract
Abstract The use of computer in digital graphics creates a new possibility for the pluralistic world of art and usher in a new era of the art form. With such characteristics as easy copying, accurate data, convenient storage and swift transmission, computer graphics provides a new fashion for designers or artists to present their ideas and concepts through their creation. Computer graphics can be classified as vector graphics and bitmap graphics. This dissertation studies how vector graphic is applicable to picture books for children. Through the drawings of the picture books, we aim to discuss systematically a series of graphics in vector style and present its uniqueness. The focus of this study is to analyze the form and style based on the characteristics of vector graphics.A single volume, 22-page comic book is used to demonstrate how vector graphics can be applied to create the form and style of a work. The study also attempts to use another method to complete a three-volume English teaching material work (each volume has 30 pages) and compare the different effects between the two methods.
