山林.魂-異質圖像雜混的水墨創作論述

Abstract

大自然中隱藏著無限的生機與探索不完的動植物與山林野趣，從小就對大自然產生莫大的興趣。中年後約有十幾年的光陰走遍台灣的大小山岳，與山林近距離的接觸。退休後索性搬離都市與山林為鄰，過著「山居歲月」的悠閒日子。本論文主題「山林﹒魂」其實是自我生命的體驗，描繪一生中與山林情感的連結和關照。 筆者對原始藝術充滿興趣，包括人類的洞穴壁畫、非洲的原始藝術、人形面具以及中國的漢字初始的象形文字、甲骨文、金文等文化遺產，在筆者創作「山林﹒魂」的系列作品中―原始力量系列、探索文明系列中展現在出來。 在以「山林﹒魂」為主題的創作上，運用水墨的各種特殊材料與技法，並以動植物、花卉、圖騰等山中物語，展現山川大地在時間與空間的變化，來襯托出山林的千姿百態，並反映出自己的心靈世界。 本研究在水墨創作中將「山林﹒魂」以異質圖像雜混的創作方式呈現，探討內心世界的情感活動，與自己的心靈對話，藉由「異質圖像雜混」的藝術表現開啟視覺傳達之窗，展現出真、善、美的藝術理想境界。試圖回歸藝術創作的初心「言說外象，虛境於心，青山若是，色可坐望」的山水意境，借創作投射個人之內在心緒，是對生命、哲學、情感的回探與關照。

I was attracted by the numerous number of lives and plants which exists in the nature since I was very young. When I was in my middle age, I spend almost twenty years to visit many mountains, including big and average-height mountains, which I really enjoyed the beauty of the nature, including trees, rocks and small animals at close encounter. Furthermore, I have even moved to a place which near by the mountains when I was retired. The title of my thesis, "Spirit of the wood of the mountains" exhibits and describes my own experience of feeling the live-interactions with the trees and mountains from the bottom of my heart. The highest level of the art, referred by the Chinese artists, is a state which blends with live, feeling, and thought of the artist; the art exhibits completely the reflections of the real life everywhere. The method of my research is to create an innovative approach which comes from the beauty of the nature, wood, rock, animals, and mountains, for Ink and wash paintings on blended materials. In this research, the spirit of forest was expressed in terms of blended images to interpret the feeling the art from the bottom of my heart; the expression of the blended images expression exhibits the feeling of the truth, goodness, and beauty. This objective of the research is to find the creation of art based on the balance among the beauty of the nature, our feeling in our heart, life and the philosophy.
