簡約風格之風景影像創作與研究─以道路攝影系列為例

Abstract
本研究論文為探討風景攝影在簡約風格下的表現手法。將由簡約主義的理論脈絡出發,在其定義下整理出簡約風格的表現特色。接著探討攝影史中簡約風景攝影的發展脈絡,並透過當代中外名家作品案例分析結果相互比對,結合簡約主義的論述,建構一套簡約風格風景影像的創作表現手法架構,作為本研究結合「攝影」、「設計」、「藝術」三者領域,進行簡約風格風景攝影─道路系列影像創作的手法依據。
經過文獻探討與案例分析,歸納出簡約風格之風景影像中,與簡約主義相關的概念有:純粹的本質、減法的簡化、低限的色彩、幾何的結構、無聲的寧靜五項特色。並將其轉化為五項簡約風格之風景影像的創作手法:豐富細節、幾何構圖、灰冷色調、數位後製、主題系列化。而運用於本研究創作並加以驗證後,根據創作結果得到三個面向的結論:
一、攝影:主題的獨特性、攝影工具、簡約風格表現手法的詮釋,對於簡約風格之風景影像作品同樣重要。而與刪除一切內容元素的簡約主義藝術之最大差異,在於簡約中同時須保留風景主題的必要元素與符號。
二、設計:本研究創作中的「設計」,即是解決如何使創意想法表現於攝影成像中的問題。數位後製的手法,讓簡約的特色放大,並增加超現實的反差及趣味。現今攝影與數位設計的結合,更是視覺影像創作的必然方式。
三、藝術:本研究創作以「觀念攝影」為表現形式;「觀念藝術」為作品內涵,並融入裝置藝術的概念展出。「觀念攝影」的人文形式讓風景攝影擁有更深入、更豐富的創作面貌。而最後在觀者個體不同生活經驗下,多元性的美感認知,讓簡約風格風景影像作品有多方向的藝術解讀與詮釋。
The creation and studyof minimal style used in landscape photography. Based on the theories and definitions of minimalism. The study starts with studying the theories and definitions of minimalism, and also sort out the characteristics in minimalism. Next it compares the works from fractions connected with minimal style landscape photography in the past to the contemporary works of minimal style landscape photography of well known artists. Lastly, from the conclusion drawn from the studies, a photograph presentation is implicated based on the findings in the topic of study. The photograph presentation “Road Photography” uses original technique of expressions in minimal landscape photography based on the studies done on this topic. The presentation reflects on three creative domains: photography, visual design, and art. Through analysis of related literatures and case studies, the concept of minimal landscape photography can be separated into five different concepts: pure essence, subtraction, simplification, limit colors, geometry structure, and silent tranquility. The presentation “Road Photography” transforms the five concepts into five different techniques of expressions in minimal landscape photography. They are : enrich details, geometry composition, cool tones, digital photo retouching, and theme seriation. The applications of minimal landscape photography concepts and theories in photographic techniques of expressions had reached conclusion in three creative domains: Ⅰ,photography: Unique themes, photographic tools, technique of expressions are equally important to the success of minimal landscape photography. The difference of minimal landscape photography and minimal art is the elimination of all and any elements in minimal arts, but in minimal landscape photography, on must keep all the major elements and marks of the landscape in order for the photograph to have any meanings. Ⅱ,Visual design: The idea of visual design in this study is to solve the problem of transforming the images in our minds into actual works of photographs. The use of digital photo retouching can maximize the characteristics of minimalism, and at the same time contras the difference between what is real and surreal. Hence, making it more interesting for the audiences experience the arts. The combined use of photographing and visual designing is essential in modern visual art design. Ⅲ,Art : The idea is for conceptual art to be presented in the form of conceptual photography, and also intergrate installation art as part of the presentation. Adding the humanities factors, conceptual photography’s in landscape photographs deepens and enriches in it’s creative aspects. From different experiences of the audiences, comes diverse aesthetic experiences, enhance allowing minimal landscape photography will have many different definitions and translations.
