dc.description.abstractThe capability approach developed by Amartya Sen, and the social relations model proposed by Solveig Magnus Reindal have provided insights into the nature of the individual needs in special education as well as the phenomenon of disability. The purpose of this article was to examine the dilemma faced by special educators. It was expected to make progress toward justice in the field of special education in Taiwan.en_US
