dc.description.abstractWe study the possibility of the gapped continuum dark matter(DM) in a hidden sector scenario. The focus of our study is to extend the idea of Weak Interacting Continuum WIC DM to the model of dark vector portal. We elevate a dark U(1)′ charged DM in the hidden sector to continuum status. The U(1)′ gauge boson is mixed with SM U(1) gauge boson to form a dark photon. Dark photon exchange provide a viable portal s-channel interaction that drives the freeze out mechanism, very similar to the original weakly-interacting continuum (WIC) model, but with the option to adjust the mediating dark photon mass. We calculate possible parameters in GeV and sub-GeV ranges that could generate the correct DM relic density and compare to some of the constraints.en_US
