光源及金屬材質應用於公共藝術設計創作之研究─以臺師大鐘塔為例

Abstract
公共藝術的目的除了是讓藝術走進生活，也希望開發和拓展場域魅力，提升文化品味，整體活化發展，促進文化價值和影響力。公共藝術在校園中，希望將場域轉化為互動空間，讓公共藝術存在校園時除了提升美感，更可以對空間整體活化有覺察。本研究通過文獻探討蒐集分析公共藝術發展、鐘塔造形、金屬材料、LED光源等的現狀、發展和材質特性。個案研究分析引入各種形式（材質性、主題性、造形性、光源性、動態抽象幾何形態、抽象幾何形態）運用於公共藝術之內容。針對材料使用特性和發展設計訪談大綱，分別邀請金屬工業和LED光源科技的製造者接受訪談並以分析訪談結果，經由訪談內容得結論在創作時進行對比驗證與設計調整。「金屬」材料在公共藝術領域中被廣泛使用，材料語彙多元，而工法更可以運用在不同的藝術創作主題，「光源」從早期的輔助性工具，到現在已經演變成藝術作品中很重要的一環，LED光源是科技進步的產物，隨著需求可以製造不同的材料物件提供創作使用，而光源與金屬的應用以物體反射效果為主要，多媒材的跨界合作也讓藝術在公共場域得到更多元的組合，提升了公共藝術更多可性變化性。本研究的結論包含(1)光源與金屬的相關文獻發展(2)當代公共藝術發展趨勢(3)驗證分析LED光源與金屬之間的投射變化(4)根據研究結果創作具創新之公共藝術創作。本創作最終設計五組立體作品，基於經費考量，僅以3D模擬示意金屬與光源應用的效果。
The purposes of public art are to make it become a part of life, to develop and expand the attraction of fields, to enhance cultural tastes and the overall activation of development, to promote cultural values and influence. Public art in the campus, hoping to transform the field into interactive space, not only increases the beauty of the campus , but also raises the sense of space activation. In this study, through the literature review, we analyze the develoment of public art, as well as properties of bell tower shape, metal materials, and LED light. Case study introduces the various forms (material, theme, shape, light, dynamic abstract geometry, abstract geometric form) used in the content of public art. In regard to the use of materials and the development of the design, the study has taken interview with manufacturers of metal industry and LED lighting technology. The results of the interview were applied to the creative producation of this study for verification and design adjustments. "Metal" materials have widely used in the field of public art, in light of diverse vocabulary of material, and fabrication techniques applied in various themetic creation. "Lighting", which was auxiliary tool in the early days, has now evolved into a very important part of the works of art. LED lighting is the product of technological progress, with the new demand can create different materials to provide creative use. The application of lighting and metal is mainly for the effect of object reflection. The cross-border cooperation of multimedia has promoted more diverse combination of art in the public field, and enhanced the variety of public art. The conclusions of the study include: 1) the development of related literature on lighting and metal, 2) the trend of contemporary public art, 3) verifying the projection changes of LED lighting and metal materials, 4) creation of innovative public art based upon the research results. The project finally created five sets of three-dimension works. Owing to limited funding, only 3D simulation presents to demonstrate the application effect of metal and lighting.
