海洋教育議題特色課程推動之個案研究

Abstract
本研究旨在探究一所國民小學推動海洋教育議題特色課程之情形,分別就推動動機、歷程、困境與解決策略、推動後之影響、未來展望以知悉其全貌。研究者使用個案研究法,以竹心國小為個案研究對象,向其十位教職員工採半結構式訪談並輔以相關文件資料,進行資料的彙整、分析、歸納。最後根據研究所得總結研究結果並提出研究建議供學校、教育行政機關、未來研究者日後參考。根據研究發現,將研究結果論述如下:一、個案學校推動海洋教育議題特色課程的動機:學校鄰近在地漁港擁地利之便,具豐富資源供教學取材、符應社區文化,貼近學生生活背景、期望藉由海洋教育的推廣培育學生海洋相關知能。二、個案學校推動海洋教育議題特色課程歷程:醞釀期─確定學校特色課程發展方向,開拓資源以整合運用;發展期─揚帆啟航、深層探索海洋奧秘,全面推廣海洋教育;轉化期─永續創新推展、價值重塑,運用藍海策略提升整體品質。三、個案學校在推動海洋教育議題特色課程的歷程中曾遭遇之困境包含部分教師推動積極度不足,恐造成課程僵化固著、校內海洋教育教師社群成員不穩定、學生缺乏對海洋在地文化之先備知識,影響教師教學成效及感受。四、個案學校為排除困境以順利推動海洋教育議題特色課程,採取之因應策略主要為柔性激勵並組織團隊以提升教師海洋教育推動力、儲備專業人力及相關資源、善加利用環境資源強化學生學習動機、採多元教學方法啟發學生學習。五、個案學校推動海洋教育議題特色課程後,對於學校發展、教師增能、學生學習、社區家長都有正向影響。六、個案學校未來期望能往開發海洋相關主題式課程與展能活動、結合雙語教育、科技融入教學四面向進行海洋教育議題特色課程創新轉型與延伸發展。根據上述之研究結果,提出研究建議供學校、教育行政機關及未來研究者參考。
The purpose of this research is to explore the situation of an elementary school promoting featured curriculums on marine education issues, and to understand the whole picture from the promotion motivation, the promotion course,dilemmas, solution strategies, impacts after the promotion, and future prospects. The researcher used the case study method, taking Zhuxin Elementary School as the case study object, and conducted semi-structured interviews with ten of facultymembers, supplemented by relevant documents, and prossessed the deta collecting, analyzing, and summarizing. Finally, sum up the research results and make suggestions based on the findings of the research, and used as a reference for schools, educational administrative agencies, and future researchers. According to the research findings, the research results are discussed as follows:1.The motivation of the case school promoting featured curriculums on marineeducation issues: The school is close to the local fishing port, having the geographical advantage. It has abundant resources as teaching materials,conforms to the community culture, and is close to the life background of students, and hopes to cultivate students related marine knowledges through the promotion of marine education.2.The course of the case school promoting the featured curriculums on marine education issues: The incubation period — determine the development direction of the school’s featured curriculums, explore the resources for integrated application; the development period — setsail, explore marine mysteries in depth, and comprehensively promote marine education; the transformation period — sustainable innovation promotion, value remodeling, and improve overall quality by the use of Blue Ocean Strategy.3.The dilemmas encountered by the case school in the course of promoting featured curriculums on marine education issues include some teachers’lack of enthusiasm to promote, which may result in rigid curriculum, unstable community members of the marine education teachers in the school, and the lack of students' prior knowledge of the indigenous culture of the ocean, which can affects teachers’ teaching experience and teaching effectiveness. 4.In order to get rid of the dilemmas and successfully promote the featured curriculums of marine education issues, the case school adopts mainly to flexible incentive, organizes the team to enhance teachers' impetus of marine education, reserves professional manpower and related resources, and makes good use of environmental resources to strengthen student learning motivation, using multiple teaching methods to inspire students to learn.5.After the case school promotes the featured curriculums on marine education issues, it has positive impacts on school development, the enhencement on teachers' capacity, students' learning, and parents in the community. 6.In the future, the case school expects to carry out innovative transformation and extend the development of featured curriculums on marine education issues by developing marine-related thematic courses and day activities, combining bilingual education, and integrating technology into teaching. Based on the research results above, make specific suggestions and reflections for schools, educational administrative agencies, and future researchers as reference.
