仿生思維應用於英文字體設計之動態圖像創作研究

dc.description.abstract仿生設計的靈感來自於自然界中形形色色的生物和生態系統,透過形態仿生—具象、抽象、意象等轉化,將這些自然原則應用於設計當中。字體為平面設計中的基本素材之一,易於在廣大字庫中搜尋既有字體並使用之,然而字體設計除傳達訊息外,亦能創造視覺吸引力與建立風格。在追求永續環境與向自然學習的時代,本研究以仿生思維的角度進行英文字體設計來作為探究的主體,透過文獻分析法與個案分析法,整理相關文獻與剖析國際競賽中得獎之字體設計案例,歸納出設計要點,並建立仿生設計應用於字體設計的流程。透過觀察自身環境中常見的12種昆蟲與環境的互動關係,作為仿生設計之研究樣本,透視昆蟲造型之美學,將其元素轉化並應用於字體設計中,開發出一套完整以昆蟲為取樣的仿生英文字體設計。此字體兼具仿生概念與閱讀性,本研究將此字體應用於靜態的海報設計之外,亦以近年新興發展趨勢-動態圖像來表現其視覺效果,給予觀者靜態與動態兼具的多重視覺體驗。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractBionic design draws inspiration from nature for innovation, providing designers with more methods and possibilities and integrating visual imagery. Typeface is one of the basic materials in graphic design, and it is easy to search for existing typefaces in a large font library. However, typeface can create visual appeal. In the era of pursuing a sustainable environment, this study conducts typeface design from the perspective of bionic thinking, hoping to imitate the ecological environment to give typeface a new look and vitality. This study takes the application of bionics in English alphabet design as the core of research, uses research methods i.e. literature review and case analysis, and summarizes the main points of bionic design and typeface design as the support theory. This study observes the interaction of 12 common insects and their environment in our living space. This study transforms insect elements into typeface design and develops a complete alphabet. This typeface is represented in poster design and motion graphic design which has recently become a trend in visual communication for providing viewers a multiple visual experience.en_US
