Abstract
The advancement of computer technology has positioned “digital” all around us--digital books, digital cameras, and even digital toilets. The advent of computer technology era is indeed changing the macro- environment for design and creation. From the rise of digital arts to the development of interactive multimedia, digitization has taken root in the contents of creations. It can even be said that computer-created works are digitized products by nature. Digitized works are free from the anxiety of having that “aura” vanish with traditional duplication of images. Because “duplication” has become the defining feature of digital works, this research shall use it to proceed with some creations. By way of examining documents about digital arts and reviewing historical issues about image duplication, this study hopes to understand how the term “duplication” has transformed from technical imagery to the inner spiritual quality of creation. The composite principles of form are then applied to the make-up of multimedia picture. Finally, by utilizing multimedia interactivity, viewers get to touch off composite dynamic images of every picture. As each image is displayed, a time difference is there to give rhythmic visual effects to the picture. Such is an esthetic experience that viewers have created.
