童軍家長服務員認真休閒歷程之研究

Abstract

本研究為探討童軍家長服務員參與童軍服務的心路歷程，將家長服務員參與童軍緣起、童軍服務參與、困難與挑戰、家長服務員個人特質與認真休閒理論的相關連結等方向討論。蒐集國內外相關文獻，建構本研究的基礎概念，以質性研究一對一的結構性訪談方式，訪問四位在童軍運動參與超過八年以上之家長服務員，針對其童軍參與服務之心路歷程進行歸納整理。經由資料分析與整理，將家長服務員的童軍參與的歷程分為五個綱要，一、參與童軍的緣起：了解接觸童軍的機緣，接著參與服務的起心動念，到最後投入服務熱忱的變化；二、參與童軍服務的困難與挑戰：對於大量投入心力、時間及資源，進行童軍服務過程中，面對了何種困難與挑戰。三、家長服務員的個人特質：童軍運動中需要學習不同技能、進過不同階段受訓及無酬的服務，長久的投入及參與，服務員具備了積極、熱於學習及奉獻等特質；四、 了解家長服務員生涯規劃以及童軍的參與行為：家長服務員在童軍參與的生涯規劃及加入童軍團後哪些參與行為；五、認真休閒特質之驗證：家長服務員的童軍參與都是在工作之餘，對於童軍參與投入與熱忱，更不斷精進自己的技能，提升童軍服務的能力，且建立了童軍夥伴間非童軍之休閒情誼，與認真休閒特質有諸多符合之驗證。經由本研究的討論能對童軍家長服務員有更進一步的認識，對於來自不同領域的童軍成人領導人，參與童軍服務有更深刻的認識。希望研究結果能提供童軍運動的委員會，對於未來提擬增加參加人口數策略的參考。In order to explore the journey of volunteer scouter, this study discusses the origins of volunteer scouter, their involvement in Scouting, difficulties and challenges, and the connection between volunteer scouter’s personal characteristics and the validation of the theory of conscientious leisure. Relevant domestic and foreign literature was collected to construct the basic concepts of this study, and a qualitative one-on-one structured interview was used to interview four parent caregivers who have participated in Scouting for more than eight years to summarize and organize their journey of Scouting participation and service.After data analysis and sorting, the journey of volunteer scouter was divided into five outlines. 1. The origin of participating in Scouting: Understanding the opportunity to contact Scouting, then the motivation to participate in service, and finally the enthusiasm for service. 2. Difficulties and challenges in participating the Scout service: What difficulties and challenges have been faced in the process of investing a lot of effort, time and resources in Scout service. 3. Personal characteristics of volunteer scouter: Scouting requires learning different skills, undergoing different levels of training, providing unpaid services, and long-term investment and participation. The attendants had characteristics such as positivity, enthusiasm for learning, and dedication. 4. Understanding Career planning of volunteer scouter: Career planning of volunteer scouter in Scouting and participation behaviors after joining the Scouting Corps; 5. Verification of serious leisure characteristics: Scouting participation of volunteer scouter is all after work. With dedication and enthusiasm for Scouting, they had continuously improved their skills, enhanced Scouting service capabilities, and established a non-Scouting casual friendship among Scout partners, which had been proven to be consistent with the serious leisure characteristics.The discussion of this study provided a better understanding of volunteer scouter, and a deeper understanding of the involvement of adult Scout leaders from different areas of Scouting. Hoped that the results of this study will provide Scouting committees with reference for future strategies to increase the number of participants.
