Abstract
李臨秋是1930 年代台灣現代流行歌謠第1 代ê 重要詞人之一。伊佇1933 開
始創作台語歌詞ê 頭1 年,就以人生代表作〈望春風〉轟動台灣歌壇,而且不斷
傳唱到今,已經80 冬。本論文以「李臨秋台語歌詞ê 語言風格」為研究主題。
首先關注台語流行歌謠發展ê 時代佮文化背景,探索李臨秋歌詞ê 創作起源佮歷
程。以語言學ê 方法,觀察並分析李氏詞作ê 聲韻、詞彙、句法佮形式等,揣出
歌詞ê 語言風格。
其中特別聚焦佇台語聲韻ê 特色,尤其是以傳統七字仔為基礎ê 押韻。包含
韻跤以外ê 其他疊音現象佮功能。諧主元音佮諧韻尾是台語歌詩中ê 另外2 項聲
韻特點,對台語歌謠韻律有增強作用。上特別ê 是文白濫佮漳泉濫這2 項台語聲
韻特色。
詞彙方面,除了台語特別詞以外,嘛有運用重疊詞佮諧音相關詞等手法。〈補
破網〉ê「魚網」佮「希望」就是「諧音相關詞」ê 代表作。
李氏ê 句法兼顧傳統形式佮現代文學ê 複合結構,充分整合短句佮長句、肯
定句佮疑問句、文言佮白話、韻文佮散文,甚至藏頭詩ê 手法,形成特殊ê 句法
風格。
本研究以跨領域ê 視野,兼探討李氏詞作ê 文藝風格佮文化意涵,並以當代
觀點,評述李臨秋ê 歷史定位。
Lí Lîm-Tshiu is one of the most important lyricists of the first generation Taiwan modern popular ballad of the 1930s. He created a sensation on Taiwan popular ballad with the “Look Forward to the Spring”, considered the representative works of 1930. The song remains popular today, after 80 years. In the thesis, I discuss the historical and cultural backgrounds of Taiwanese popular ballads, and the origin of Lí Lîm-Tshiu’s creation of the lyrics. I analyze forms of Lí Lîm-Tshiu’s lyrics in terms of phonology, vocabulary, and grammar. I have found that the language style of the lyrics follow the characteristics of Taiwanese phonology,especially in the traditional 7-word poetry. In addition, the lyrics contain other repetition phenomenon and function other than rhyme. The assonance and consonance are two phonological features of Taiwanese lyrics, and they make the Taiwanese lyrics more musical. The mix of classical and spoken pronunciation, and the mixture of Zhangzhou and Quanzhou dialects are parts of the characteristic Taiwanese language style, and Lí took advantage of it intelligently. In additions, Lí Lîm-Tshiu’s vocabulary and syntactic features highlight the language style of the lyrics. This thesis adds to the interdisciplinary field of vision, exploring the literary style and cultural implications of Lí’s lyrics. Finally, we evaluate Lí Lîm-Tshiu’s historical contributions in terms of his creative writings of Taiwanese folk songs.
