國中音樂班學生升學選擇之調查研究-以南部地區為例

Abstract
本研究採問卷調查法,以南部地區之國中音樂班八年級、九年級學生為研究對象,探討其升學選擇情形與原因,並就不同背景變項於兩者之差異進行分析。研究者以自編之「國中音樂班學生升學選擇問卷」蒐集資料,獲致研究結論如下:
壹、南部地區國中音樂班學生升學選擇情形為,七成以上的國中音樂班學生選擇國中階段畢業後「繼續」升學音樂班(系),且升學學校類型以選擇高中音
樂班的比例最高,七年一貫制音樂系比例最低。「目前就讀學校所在縣市」及「學科成績」兩背景變項在升學選擇上有顯著差異。
貳、影響國中音樂班學生升學選擇的原因可歸納為個人、家庭、學校及社會四方面,學生對於個人方面的原因表示最同意的態度。就整體而言,「個人對音
樂的興趣」及「未來的職業及生涯規劃」兩個原因的同意度最高,對「學科老師的看法」表示的同意度最低。「就讀年級」變項在學校影響原因及社會影響原因上有顯著差異,且九年級高於八年級;「學科表現」變項在個人影響原因、家庭影響原因、學校影響原因上有顯著差異。
參、升學選擇與影響原因之相關情形為個人影響原因、家庭影響原因、學校影響原因分別與升學選擇呈顯著正相間之關係,且以個人原因的影響最大,學校
原因次之,最小為家庭原因,社會影響原因則與升學選擇無顯著相關。此外,
四方面的影響原因彼此間也都呈現正相關之關係。
依據結論,研究者對國中音樂班學生、家長、教師、學校及未來研究者提出建議,以供教育輔導策略及未來研究之參考。
The method of questionnaire survey was used in the research. It was distributed to the subjects who were the 8th and 9th grade students enrolled in classes for the musically talented in public junior high schools in southern Taiwan. The questionnaire was named “A Survey on Educational Choices of Musically Talented Junior High School Students.” Collected data were analyzed to explore the differences between various background factors and the correlation of educational choices and influential factors. The findings of this study are as following: 1. Over 70% of the students in musical talented classes of junior high schools in southern Taiwan chose to continue the music education. And the highest percentage of the musically talented junior high school students chooses to continue the musical talented senior high school. The lowest percentage of these students chooses the seven-year-coherent-college program of the department of music. Also there were significant differences between the junior high school of the county he or she was studying and the performance of the subjects. 2. The influential factors on senior high school choices of musically talented junior high school students included the dimensions of individuals, family, schools, and society. The students have the highest agreement on individual interest in music and career plans for the future. The agreement on the opinions of the teachers in academic subjects is the lowest. As for the situation of senior high school choices in different background variables: There was a significant difference between the grade the students are studying in and school and society factors. The level of the ninth grade was higher than the eighth grade. There also was a significant difference between the performance in academic subjects and individual, family, and school factors. 3. There were significant positive correlations between choosing different schools and the dimensions of individual, family, and school factors. And the individual factor was the most significant. There was no significant correlation between choosing different schools and society factors. Furthermore, there were also positive correlations between the four dimensions each other. According to the conclusions, suggestions are given to the students in musically talented classes of junior high schools, parents, teachers, and the researchers who have the same interest in this subject as references for career counseling and future research.
