動態評量輔助高中地理實察行動學習之研究

Abstract
地理實察在地理教學上占有不可或缺的重要地位,然而實際教學現場存在若干阻礙,讓高中教師感到不易實施實察教學。由於科技的進步,透過行動學習模式可讓學生使用PDA、手機等裝置進行不受時空限制的自主學習,為地理實察的教學方式提供另一種可能的方式,加以漸進提示動態評量的融入,更可達成過去教師難以在野外直接對學生進行的即時評量與教學回饋,使教學與評量合而為一。因此,本研究的目的是發展一個以內建GPS的智慧型手機為學習工具,在行動學習的環境中輔助地理實察教學的動態評量模組,並邀請高中師生進行前後兩次教學實驗,透過逐步修正方式以探究此教學模組實際應用的成效。研究採用統整學生學習成效評量、參與觀察、問卷以及訪談結果的三角檢定法進行評估,結果顯示動態評量教學模組可提升學生的學習動機與成效。
Fieldwork plays an indispensable role for teaching geography. However, most high school teachers feel it’s hard to be implemented because there are still some restrictions in real situation. As the progress of technology, students can use devices such as PDA or mobile phone to do self-learning anytime and anywhere, so called mobile learning. Mobile learning has brought an alternative way to put fieldwork into practice effectively. When joining the design of graduated prompting assessment in mobile learning, it can conduct assessment and provide relevant assists in real time that’s hard to be accomplished in the past. By this way, teaching and assessment can be integrated. The aim of the study is to develop a dynamic assessment module which is implemented in GPS embedded smart phones to assist high school fieldwork. A number of high school teachers and students were invited to test the module. The tests were conducted twice to improve the performance. The feasibility and effectiveness were evaluated by triangulation method based on the students’ learning results, participation observations, questionnaires, and interviews. The results show that the dynamic assessment module can improve students’ learning motivation and performance.
