學生之教師分類架構

Abstract

摘 要 「學生之教師分類架構」主要探究學生對教師的分類行為,其主要目的為:一、瞭解不同性別、階級學生對教師所作分類的類型;二、探究不同性別、階級學生對教師分類的依據與原因;三、分析不同性別、階級學生對教師所做分類之異同。本研究選擇一所常態編班國中,八年級一個班級的學生作為研究對象,蒐集相關文獻,且以訪談方式獲得資料,歸納結果後,提出研究結果與建議。歸納結論如下: 壹、 在分類類型方面 一、 各階級女學生較男學生呈現更多的分類類型,且對教師類型的描述、所使用的形容詞也較男學生為豐富。 二、 各階級男學生較女學生容易將教師歸為負面的分類類型。 三、 中上階級男女學生對教師所做的分類類型中,正面性的類型,較低階白領及勞工階級男女學生多。 貳、 在分類原因方面 一、 各階級男女學生在教師分類原因上具相同性 (一) 所有學生在教師的教學態度及能力方面皆有所有要求,在教師人格特質方面,具有幽默、親切特質的教師受到所有學生的歡迎。 (二) 升學主義下的台灣,所有學生忽略「學測不考」科目的授課教師。 二、 男女學生對教師的分類依據呈現部分差異 (一) 男學生較有趨樂避苦傾向,對於要求較多的老師給予負面評價。 (二) 女學生對教師的苦心較能體諒,也多能遵守班級的規定。 三、各階級學生對教師的分類依據呈現部分差異 (一) 中上及低階白領階級能詳細描述、肯定「教學認真型」的教師具有的特質;勞工階級學生很少描述教師在教學方面的特質。 (二) 中上階級學生喜歡對分數要求嚴格的老師,忽略教學無聊的教師;低階白領及勞工階級學生則排斥要求嚴格的教師。 最後,本研究根據上述的研究發現,以及在研究過中所遇到的限制,對未來相關研究提出若干建議。 關鍵詞:類型;教師分類架構
Abstract “Student to Teacher Assortment Structure” mainly discusses about the categorization that students made for different teachers. The purpose is 1.Understand the type that different gender, level students categorize different teachers. 2. Investigate the reason and cause of why students make categorization. 3. Analyze the pro and con of what students make categorization. This research uses a class of eighth graders from a normal junior high school as a test object, collects tested data, and uses the data to come out conclusions as following: A. Assortment Type: 1. Different levels female students have more and richer assortments to teacher than male students 2. Each male student is more likely to assort teachers to negative side than female student. 3. Students with middle class or above tend to assort teachers to middle or positive type, and there are more students with white-collar class. B. Cause and Reason: 1. Each level of male and female students has the same reason for assorting teahers. a. All students has request to the attitude and ability of teacher, humorous and kind teachers tend to be accepted by students. b. Students tend to ignore the teachers and subjects which is not tested on National Exams 2. Different gender students has different assortment causes to teachers a. Male students have intention about escaping away from suffering, mostly give teachers with negative comments. b. Female students tend to show more sympathy to teachers and often follow the class rules 3. Different level students has different assortment cause to teachers a. Students with middle class or above are more able to describe the characteristic of “hard working” teachers and lower level students are less able to. b. Students with middle class or above tend to like “score-strict” teachers, and ignore boring teachers, and lower level students have opposite view.
