台南城市圖像繪本之創作研究

Abstract

本論文主要研究如何萃取台南城市圖像元素後，藉由手繪方式創作成代表台南城市圖像的繪本，透過多元化地方學理角度做初步的文獻資料彙整，如：以社會學帕森思(Talcott Parsons)的行動體系階層，即AGIL進化對於文化層面探討，以地理學中自然地理取得獨特景觀及人文地理學的角度探討，在城市圖像因子中取得代表城市意象的特徵、結構和意義三層次，甚至是直接尋找台南城市獨有的特別之處探尋，這些看似不同屬性的觀點，實質上卻是緊密結合。 研究者創作的台南圖像，將由不同的有形及無形物件形成，亦可從具象景觀或建築中呈現代表台南的古蹟圖像，延伸到獨有的生態及有形與無形的文化，形成台南各種類別的圖像。故本研究將台南意象的分類分為文化生態、人文氣息、古蹟探尋和傳統美食四大類。 結合不同專家群意見，透過兩次的德菲專家問卷分析法後，取得最為代表台南城市圖像元素中，文化生態9項、人文氣息14項、古蹟探尋17項和傳統美食11項，得到51項，為更加突顯台南圖像代表，從51項中以不分類方式擷取非常同意佔比70％內作為本研究創作來源，這便是此繪本創作基底形成台南城市韻味。 本研究將台南的文化生態定調為黃色，人文氣息為咖啡色，古蹟探尋為翠綠色，傳統美食為淺藍色。期許以這四種色相可以代表台南意象綿延不絕，永續不斷。讓大家看到台南不同風貌及找回遺忘的台南城市圖像。This thesis aims to extract the imagery elements of Tainan city and use them to create a picture book representing the urban images of Tainan by means of urban illustration technique; this helps to make a preliminary literature review through diversified theoretical perspectives from the locals. In particular, American sociologist Talcott Parsons postulated the AGIL action system (or the AGIL paradigm) to explore the cultural aspects of the landscape, including natural landscape that constitutes unique scenes in natural geography as well as life geography in the frame of human geography. This framework is adopted in the current thesis to extract three layers of urban imagery elements: attributes, structures, and meanings, and we also look directly for the particularities of Tainan city. We will show that these characteristics, seemingly different, are essentially integrated. The illustrations of Tainan created by the researcher include a wide array of tangible and intangible elements, extending from physical monuments or buildings of Tainan to unique ecology, and further to tangible or intangible cultural elements, altogether constituting images of various categories. This study classifies them into four major categories: culture ecology, humanities, monuments, and traditional cuisine. Two Delphi expert questionnaires have been administered and analyzed to elicit opinions from industry, officials, literature, history and other fields. Fifty-one elements have been identified as the most representative: 9 from cultural ecology, 14 from humanities, 17 from monuments, and 11 from traditional cuisine. Among the 51 elements, we select the elements that receive 70% or higher percentage for “Strongly agree,” regardless of the categories, which is the source where we derive our inspirations for illustrating the charm of Tainan city. This study sets the yellow color for Tainan cultural ecology, brown for humanities, emerald for monuments, and light blue for traditional cuisine. These colors are expected to show the continuity and sustainability of Tainan images. everyone to see Tainan's different orientations and find the forgotten Tainan city image.
