北區大學校院學生事務組織創新氣氛之研究

Abstract

本研究旨在了解大學校院學生事務組織創新氣氛現況與學生事務人員知覺學生事務組織創新氣氛的重要性,並進一步透過重要─表現程度分析法(IPA),進行學務組織創新氣氛重要性與實際狀況的交叉分析,診斷目前大學校院、公私立院校、各學務單位之學務組織創新氣氛應繼續維持或優先改善之處,作為營造良好學務組織創新氣氛之參考依據。 本研究以106學年度第一學期北區大學校院學生事務人員為研究對象,採立意取樣,針對19所學校,抽取447位學務人員,以「大學校院學生事務組織創新氣氛調查問卷」進行調查,共回收350份,有效問卷307份,有效問卷回收率為87.71%。統計方法包含敘述性統計、單一樣本t檢定、單因子變異數分析、相依樣本t檢定,以及重要-表現程度分析(IPA)。本研究主要發現如下: 一、北區大學校院學務組織創新氣氛良好,並以年長、服務於住輔組、課指組及專責室的學務人員知覺較佳。 二、北區大學校院學務人員重視學務組織創新氣氛,並以較高學歷(碩士及以上)、高等教育與學生事務或心輔與教育相關主修、具學生事務或心輔與教育相關認證、專業發展較多、任職於住輔組、課指組或專責室、擔任主管、專業分工較高者,較為重視。 三、北區大學校院學務組織應繼續維持主管及工作團隊支持與鼓勵,需優先改善資源適足度、空間環境。 最後根據本研究結果,針對整體學生事務處組織、公私立大學校院、各學務單位及學生事務人員提出建議,以作為未來大學院校營造學務組織創新氣氛應繼續維持或優先改善之參考。
This study aims at exploring the status-quo of innovation climate within the student affairs department in university and understanding the perception of importance of innovation climate from staff members’ perspectives. Through applying the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA), a cross-analysis between the ideal and actual situation of innovation climate was conducted to diagnose the current climate of innovation in student affairs departments in both public and private higher education institutes (HEIs). The research participants were staff members in student affairs department in HEIs in the North District in Taiwan. The data were collected in the first semester of 2017 academic year. The questionnaire was adapted from previous studies by the researcher. In total, 447 staff were selected form 19 HEIs. A total of 350 responses were received and among them 307 were valid. The valid returning rate is 87.71%. The statistical methods employed are: Description statistics, Independent-Sample t-Test, One-Way ANOVA, Paired Sample t-Test, and IPA. The major findings are listed below: 1.The overall innovation climate of the student affairs department in HEIs in northern Taiwan is good. Those who are more senior and work in division of student housing service, division of extracurricular activities and office of student adviser are with better perception of organizational innovation climate. 2.The staff members of student affairs department value the organizational climate of innovation. Those staff members with master degree and above and majoring in higher education and student affairs, psychological counseling and education related fields are with better perception. Moreover, those who with certificates in student affairs, psychological counseling and education-related and have more professional development are significant higher in their perception of innovation climate. Last, those who work in division of student housing service, division of extracurricular activities and office of student adviser, the supervisor, and the division of student affairs are also having better perception. It is worth of noticing that student affairs staff members with low and high professional requirements are both perform better. 3.HEIs in northern Taiwan should continue to support and encourage the supervisors and student affair members. Priority should be given to improving the resource adequacy and space environment to create a good climate for organizational innovation. Based on the above findings, this study provides recommendations to Student Affairs departments, and student affairs staff for future improvement.
