選擇和決定：堅持走在兒童少年保護工作之路的自我敘事研究

Abstract

本研究以自我敘事的研究方法，敘事我從事兒少保工作的歷程，這個歷程從一線兒少保社工、兒少保督導到兒少保組長，這三個歷程遇到許多事件、考驗及挫敗，透過文獻找尋的自我對話及工作反思，找到繼續在兒少保之路保護因子及正向能量，再度詮釋我的新兒少保之路。在這個兒少保工作歷程中，分析四大挫敗因子，為組織內部的政治力及分工糾紛，組織外部挑戰為民意代表的介入及新聞媒體的影響。這四大因子透過再次對話及反思，去找到五個應對、五個反思方式，方式如下：一、五個應對：看見自己的努力與積極、看見不足-與自己修復、放下與和解、以解決問題為導向-專業與政治共榮、自我調適-釋懷種種擔心及有貴人相挺，兒少保路不孤單。二、五個反思：兒少保社工反思、兒少保價值與衝突之選擇、視野增進與自我覺察、建構自己的兒少保風格及從專業耗竭到自我照顧。This research aims to discuss my personal journey in the child protection social work through narrative self-study. My journey begins as a frontline social worker moving on to a social work supervisor, and then to the chief of the child protection section. Throughout my journey, I have encountered many challenges and setbacks. By narrative self-study and self-reflecting, it not only helps me to commit myself in child protection social work and keep the positive energy, but also it helps me to find a new path in my onward journey.There are four setbacks which I consider the most frustrating ones in my career. Within the organization, there are the workplace politics and disputes about the workload sharing. And on the outside, there are challenged by the interferences from the elected representatives as well as mass media. By dissecting these setbacks, through discussions and self-reflecting, I find five ways to respond to these setbacks. As well as five reflections, I acknowledge my own hard work and being proactive; I see my own inabilities, so I can restore ourselves; I sometimes also need to let go and reconcile with these setbacks; being solution oriented, I try to find the balance between professionalism and politics; finally, I realize that I am never alone on the path of child protection social work. Therefore, I have concluded to reflect as a child protection social worker; to balance between the values and the conflicts in child protection social work; to broaden my own perspective and self-awareness; to find my own approach in child protection social work; to restore ourselves from being overwhelmed and burnout.
