Abstract
論文摘要
本研究旨在探討台北市信義社區大學學員中途輟學因素,以及對於中輟學員續學意願現況的瞭解。本研究經由文獻探討發展出半結構式訪談問卷,再由信義社區大學中輟學習學員名單中採取立意抽樣進行訪談,最後提出建議以供信義社區大學和其他社區大學輔導與招生之參考,並供國內相關研究之參考。茲將研究目的、研究結論與建議分述如下:
壹、研究目的一、瞭解中輟學員參與學習的情形。
二、探究造成學員中途輟學的心路歷程。
三、瞭解中途輟學學員之續學意願。
四、根據研究結果提出建議,作為社區大學設計課程及教學等相關問題的參考。
貳、研究結論
一、學員的學習動機不同,但以「對課程感興趣」較多。
二、輟學的因素多元,但以「工作因素」最為普遍。
三、面臨學習衝突與阻礙時學員的處理方式多是自行評估與處理,甚少主動
向社區大學行政人員或教師尋求協助。
四、正向的學習經歷對有助於相同課程的繼續學習。
五、續學行動的落實端視學習阻礙排除的難易度。
六、續學場域的選擇以社區大學為主。

二、增設助理教學指導員
三、課程介紹中詳列學生的先備知識

Abstract This research aims to probe why students of Xin Yi Community College dropped out and to understand how willingly students wanted to resume their study in the Community College. Based on the literature review, the researcher designed a “semi-structured interview” questionnaire, and, by purposively sampling, interviewed the dropouts of Xin Yi Community College, then concluding suggestions for Xin Yi and other community colleges’ references to counseling and recruiting.The following are the goals, conclusions and suggestions: I. Goals 1. To understand how those who later became dropouts tool care of their study. 2. To realize why those students chose to drop out. 3. To know how willingly those dropouts wanted to resume their study. 4. To make suggestions for community colleges’ references to course design, teaching, and so on. II. Conclusions 1. Students’ learning motives were different, and “the interest in the courses” prevailed most. 2. Factors causing dropping out were various, and “job factor” was the most common one. 3. While facing learning conflicts and difficulties, instead of turning to the school faculty’s help, students used to cope with them on their own. 4. Positive learning experiences helped the further learning in the same area. 5. Students tended to choose the community college as the place to continue their study. III. Suggestions 1. To establish e-learning environment, teaching students to communicate via the blog. 2. To recruit more assistant teaching advisors, 3.
