北區大學校院學生社團參與及自我認定關係之研究

Abstract

本研究旨在探討臺灣北區大學生的社團參與、自我認定,以及兩者的關係。為達上述目的,本研究以106學年度第2學期就讀北區12所學校之大學生為研究對象,並以「北區大學校院學生社團參與及自我認定調查問卷」進行問卷調查,共發出問卷1,153份,回收1,110份,有效問卷共960份。問卷所得資料以描述統計、卡方檢定、單一樣本t考驗、變異數分析、階層多元迴歸等統計方法進行分析。本研究主要發現如下: 一、將近四分之三的北區大學生有參與社團,其中並以參與學術性與學藝性社團者最多(佔20.9%)。 二、曾住學校宿舍、私立技職校院參與社團者顯著高於未曾住學校宿舍、公立技職校院,但性別、工讀、學院無顯著差異。 三、女大生、私立大學參與服務性顯著高於男大生、公立技職與私立技職校院;男大生參與體能(育)性顯著高女大生,但在有無工讀及學院別,則無顯著差異。 四、無工讀經驗參與一至未滿二學期者,其參與社團年資顯著高於有工讀經驗者,有工讀經驗參與社團二至未滿三學期及四學期(含)以上者,其社團年資顯著高於無工讀經驗者,但性別、住宿、學校、學院別則無顯著差異。 五、北區大學生自我認定高於理論平均值,顯示其具有中上程度之自我認定。不同個人及學校背景對自我認定有顯著差異,以下分別說明。 1.曾住學校宿舍的大學師有較高的身體認定,但在性別、年級、工讀經驗、學校屬性及學院別,則無顯著差異。 2.有工讀經驗、曾住學校宿舍、公立大學的大學生有較高的性別認定,但在性別、年級及學院別,則無顯著差異。 3.有工讀經驗、就讀私立大學者有較高的價值認定,但在性別、年級、住宿情況及學院別,則無顯著差異。 4.男性、有工讀經驗、就讀私立大學或私立技職校院、主修社會、自然科學的大學生有較高的自信與自尊認定,但在年級及住宿情況,則無顯著差異。 5.有工讀經驗、就讀私立大學之大學生整體自我認定較高,但在性別、年級、住宿情況及學院別,則無顯著差異。 六、社團參與對大學生的自我認定有顯著解釋力。曾任社團社(會)長者對價值認定具有正向解釋力。 最後,根據本研究結果,針對大學生、學校相關單位,以及未來研究提出建議,以作為未來大學院校提升學生社團參與及建立自我認定之參考。
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between school club Participation and ego identity of college students in Northern Taiwan. A total of 1,153 college students were selected from 12 schools in Northern Taiwan in the second semester of 2017 academic year. The data were collected using "The Inventory of School Club Participation and Ego Identity of College Students in Nothern Taiwan." In total, 1,110 responses were received and among them 960 were valid. Descriptive statists, χ2 test, one sample t-test, one-way ANOVA and hierarchical multiple regression were conducted to analyzed the data. The major findings are listed below: 1.Almost three quarters of college students in Northern Taiwan participated in school clubs, with the majority of 20.9% in the academic and artistic clubs. 2.Students who had been accommodated in school dormitory and students from private technical and vocational schools show higher participation in school clubs. 3.Female college students and students from private university show significant higher participation in service clubs, while male students show significant higher participationp in physical clubs. 4.Students without part-time working experience show higher participation between 1-2 semesters, while students with part-time working experience show higher participation between 2-3 semesters, and above 4 semesters. 5.College students in Northern Taiwan show higher level of ego identity than theoretical average, implying that college students in Northern Taiwan show above average level of ego identity. Significant difference in ego identity was found between students of various personal or school background, explained respectively as follow: I.Students who had been accommodated in school dormitory show higher level of body identity than students who had never been accommodated in school dormitory. II.Students with part-time working experience, students who had been accommodated in school dormitory and public university students show higher level of gender identity. III.Students with part-time working experience and private university students show higher level of value identity. IV.Male college students, students with part-time working experience, students from private university and private technical and vocational chols, students from social science and natural science college show higher level of self-confidence and self-esteem. V.Students with part-time working experience and students from private university show higher level of overall ego identity. 6.School club participation experiences show significant predictive power on ego identity of college students. The experience of leading a school club has positive correlation with ego identity of college students. Finally, suggestions were proposed to college students, school administrations and future researchers as reference.
